Old Mr. Wobbly Head says "There isn't anyone who could do any better here (QPR) than me". £28m spent in the summer, P8 W1 D1 L6 F6 A18 says otherwise, you oaf.

I used to rate Harry but since hd went QPR all he's done is piss and moan, spend a load of brass and git nowhere, constantly complained about being 'short of a striker or two' last season when he had a squad the size of Manchester City's af his disposal.

For a Manager who has spent hundreds of millions of pounds in a 30 year Managerial Career 1 FA Cup is a piss poor return!! Is it though? Name other managers in the prem who have achieved a lot of trophies? He did as well as anyone has done at west ham, did better than anyone else has done in the last 20years with spurs, top four, champs football. Got qpr promoted. He's done as well as I think he could have done at all his clubs. He's spent money but so have a lot of other managers and achieved a lot less. He's a good manager, not a top manager which is why he hasn't managed a top team and I think that's the problem, people seem to compare him to top managers which is what you are doing by saying he hasn't won anything but there are plenty of good managers who haven't won many trophies.

Flattered to deceive a bit during his managerial career and has been lucky on occasions to have players at his disposal that have carried his team. Did alright at Bournemouth and was there a long time but they ended up where they started. At West Ham he was lucky to have the likes of Lampard, Defoe, Carrick, Ferdinand and Cole coming through as well as DiCanio's brilliant spell there. Again when he left they were in a similar position to when he joined. Can't argue with what he did at Portsmouth on either occasion really but they sandwiched an awful time a Southampton. He did ok at Spurs but with the money they spent he probably did what was expected, maybe they slightly punched above their weight at times but I wouldn't say he did a brilliant job. Q.P.R should've pissed the league last season in my opinion with what they had at their disposal it was ridiculous and promotion was the bare minimum of what should've been expected.
Looking at his career he's been lucky/clever that the media or certain parts of it love him. What I will congratulate him on is they way he spoke about Taarabt, if Taarabt can't be arsed to put the effort in to even get himself fit then it's got to a stage where a manager shouldn't just cover for him if he's happy just to pick up his wage. There's certain situations where I think it's right to cover for a player (possibly Hammill for example) if there is personal problems but in Taarabt's case I think he was absolutely right.

I must admit i did like what he said about Taarabt, basically he wasn't picking him as he is a lazy git in training and overweight, good on him for calling him out.......

Didn't they have a Bigger wage bill than Dortmund and AC Milan a couple of years ago ? And La Liga Champions Atlético Madrid. QPR are pretty much top of the list when it comes to examples of how to piss money against a wall (although given the current situation at the Hawthorns people will wonder whether Manchester United aren't much lower down the list...)

In all honesty Andy I don't think he's got over not getting the England job. He mentions in his book that he wanted the job but was happy at QPR. I think he's still bitter and believes that England's first team approach needs freshening up.

I think he'd be great taking on the Newcastle or Sunderland or Newcastle jobs...
He's another one of them characters that seems to have thrived in the 'celebrity era'... Minimal talents for the job they're employed to do, yet brilliant at manipulating things to make it look otherwise...

In fairness to him the wage issue wasn't his fault. Players like Taarabt on 80k a week who clearly can't be bothered are ruining that club. They have a lot of mercenaries from last time in the prem.

like most people I cannot understand the "hype" about Harry. Was on holiday when they played West Ham & he was sat on the bench showing no emotion, no interest in what was going on. He and my other mate Ian Hollowhead at millwall are all that are wrong with football. All Harry is interested in is the MONEY. All Hollowhead is interested in is being a complete PRICK. The sooner both of them leave football the better.

A toss pot of the highest level, darling of the southern based media for some strange reason. Someone on the radio was fawning over him and what a fantastic career he'd had. Would that be the fantastic career of 1 FA cup at the cost of almost putting Portsmouth out of business.
Downside of seeing him out of management will be that we will have to see his Land of leather face on Sky week in week out as a pundit claiming nearly every player is "triffic" and "world class".

Seen an interview with Taraabt last night, think it's in the Daily Mail. Whilst I'm pretty sure he isn't pulling his weight in training, if he's 3 stone overweight the rest of us are in massive trouble.

You mean the substantial role he played in bankrupting the club? I have a good friend who is deeply involved with the Pompey Supporters' Trust and Redknapp's name is poison there now.

And he gave some actual numbers for his weight at different times in his career, which indicated he was right at a normal level. Now he could be lying, of course, and I have no doubt he's a moody bugger, but to me it sounds like old 'Arry talking out of his arse again.

Can't do with him. Typical Cockney Scumbag who has tried to ruin any club he's been involved with.
As for the clamor for him to be England Manager then to this day I still can't understand that. The man is a nobody without a cheque book.
I did hear some of this interview and he came across very defensive. Disklike QPR though so they are suited in my opinion
