Could never imagine town having the luxury of Bunn and Holt playing up front with the addition of Vaughan and Wells on the bench.

Great news! We just need Bunn & Scanz to sign long term deals, Vaughan & Lolley back fit then we're looking tip top up top! Add Hammill, Wells & Ward then we have some real competition in attack.. Not much better in this division imo.

It must have cost us a bob or two to extend it.

A post on Ipswich forum.....
While I dont agree with the Nugent booing - Mainly because I actually like him as a player, but it obviously spurs him on and he laps it up! That said, why do we boo him? He's not ex-scum, he's not been a d*ckhead since his Preston days and he has always liked Ipswich as he has said in interviews.
Holt on the other hand - I will be booing the c*nt and abusing him at every opportunity. Often refers to us as "scum" on twitter, scored a hat-trick against us in "that" game and has never lived it down. The bloke is the modern day Huckerby and should be chased out of Town when we beat Huddersfield.

That won't have been cheap to extend but it's about time that bloody cheapskate dean Hoyle got his hand in his pocket. Seriously though, this is fantastic news but I guarantee before long someone will see a negative in it.
UP THE TERRIERS!!!!

I wonder if anyone know on here knows how far away from playing Vaughan is at present? I notice he was working out under supervision of the physio down at Total Fitness this morning.

Great signing and CP definately knows what he is doing and a sign the the board getting behind the boss here ...Holt brings others into play and an absolute moster up front and a nighmare for a defender to play against.

He'll play out of his skin tomorrow now - short term career settled and he's up against the tractor boys.

I randomly bumped into Dean Hoyle last week in leeds. He was laden with shopping bags and as he passed and I said hi he quipped "cheaper than buying players!" Funny off the cuff remark.
Thankfully he still had the money left to get Holty signed in til Xmas. I think given his effort and impact it will have been some of the easier money he's spent over the years. Terrific all round.

Wiziwig sometimes shows games as available beforehand that don't get shown.
My betting site has been more reliable but not 100% It never had the Brighton game as a stream but it has had the Ipswich game and all but 2 Championship games available since last sunday.
The games not available appear to be Bolton v Brentford and Sheff W v Norwich but both these appear on the wiziwig page.
It's fair to say that if it's on any betting site wiziwig should have a stream.

great stuff Chris Powell, Deano, and the board.. Just the type of player we want to bring in full time (if possible).

He'll not go to Norwich again. 1) Never go back 2) He's based in Cumbria so wants to stay as far north as possible Town is his best option at the moment! Well at the moment, it seems it is, but call me niave if you like, I think it's definitive that the loan doesn't extend any further than the next (opportunity) transfer window when Wigan can offload him to the highest bidder. Some have suggested that Chesterfield is an ideal shop window for Gobern, I would suggest that we are that same window for Holt. Niave - no - spot on Doc. Its unlikely that he will get a Premiership deal, so there might be some hope for us, although I can't quite understand why a team like Burnley are not in for him. Maybe when they get a bit more desperate in the Jan window

Come January and Town may well, injuries permitting, be pushing for a play-off place. It would be difficult for Dean to let him go if that were the case.
PS...Love him, he really is a reet proper old fashioned centre forad. Not many like him around today - opposing centre halves must dread playing against him.

Walking back to the car after the game yesterday with Barnet Bob he mentioned that Holt had apparently tweeted that he'd "sung to the lads". BB said he heard this was a ritual for new permanent signings........so Holt lined up for a permanent deal in January then?

So how would you rate his performance? Did the team made a good decision you think?
