Who, but who, in their right mind, would now want this post? Only the desperate, I would wager.

Anyone fancy a temporary job until Christmas (if you're lucky)? If so, apply for the job. Everyone knows this loopy twat sacks managers like there's no tomorrow.

That's a frightening stat. But they won one game between them, and both were clearly stupid appointments. If I was Redfearn, I'd be confident I could get enough points to make the position my own in the medium term. Was Milanic clearly a stupid appointment? Had a decent record on the continent iirc. "Clearly" might be a bit strong. But foreign managers with little experience of England don't tend to flourish in the Championship. Garcia's the only one who's done OK in recent years (inheriting a very decent Brighton side) - contrasted with Solbakken, the chap at Blackpool, Magath etc. I don't think many thought he'd be a roaring success, if not quite predicting Leeds would be as dire as they have. Loads of succesful managers have been appointments from within - Dyche and Adkins off the top of my head.

Mourinho. Wenger. Pellegrini. Koeman. are all doing rather well in the Premier League.
In our division: Karanka & Peeters are doing ok. As for that guy at Blackpool, he did ok at Charlton & given the circumstances he's in I defy anybody to make a success of that club.

Lol! The Damned Hilarious United is going to be a series of very short pamphlets that barely make a novella. Just sack the next fucker at the unveiling !

Yeah I said Championship - the circumstances are different with far less multicultural makeup of players/more continental style. Those two are fair enough shouts so far though. It's a bit pot luck though. The hasn't been a foreign manager win promotion in the last few years - the last was Di Matteo who obviously had a career here as a player.

Saw this on twitter:
"Clocks go back tonight, so if Leeds appointed a manager at 1.30am tomorrow morning, they could actually sack him half an hour before he started"

Don't try and poach our manager Marshy. Take it you didn't hear CP's comments regarding the Leeds job when he panelled his first fans forum? Said he would touch it with a barge pole!

To help people like me , when Leeds sack their next manager can the title of the thread be either dated or be titled " Leeds sack Neville" for example. Just so we know which thread it is without opening it.
