That's one of the relegation spots confirmed then. Oysten is clueless.

gone from one disaster to a worse. He needs all the luck he can get.
Wouldn't be surprised to see Lee Novak playing for Blackpool by next season.

Good luck to him. I hope he keeps them up as long as it's not at our expense.
I can understand the appointment as Clark has kept Birmingham up the last couple of years despite several posters predictions on here.

You've got to hand it to Clark, he keeps on trying to take on the impossible. If he fails then everyone will say he had no chance anyway, but if he manages to keep them up then it will look pretty good on his cv Might be method in his madness !!!!!!

I was, and still am, a huge LC fan.
Maybe he is more suited to being an assistant that the main man, but his passion and honesty was very refreshing. It was triffic.
He lost his way after that day down at Millwall, but his first full season offered so, so much hope. I don't know if he has realised how close he came to getting the system just right.
Brum was a tough gig, and Blackpool will be even harder, but maybe he'll go back to what he did well.
That one season was the most enjoyable I've ever seen from Town other than the good Bruce year. Footballing entertainment.

Jesus! That's got to be the equivalent of helping a drowning man by throwing him a lifebuoy made of Alka-Seltzer.

I actually quite like the guy and I'm very pleased for him. Blackpool is a monumental challenge but they are a big club and they will rise again. In the long run it might turn out to be a really good job for him to take on. Good luck Lee.

Good luck agent 007 Clarky , reunited with an old centre back, work your Geordie joker Magic. Ignore these doubters. Discus.

Wish him well, but not at our expenxe. I hope our improvement in form continues, I wouldn't want to be going to the donkey lashers on the last day of the season needing a win versus Clark & Clarke (or should it be Clarke & Clark?)!!!

If what doesn't kill you makes you stronger he may have to change his name to Samson

Can't fault his appetite that's for sure. Will be interesting to see how he does. Might actually help him if he's unable to bring players in.

Jesus, the bloke has been on the verge of a nervous breakdown for the last 3 years. This is hardly likely to help. Wonder if he will take all his mates with him again so he has someone to sit in the boozer with

Can't fault the guy for keeping on trying, anyone taking the job on at Blackpool deserves a bit of a break. Ultimately not a great football manager but I still like Clarky, although it was ultimately unsuccessful his first full season here was one of the most entertaining I can remember in my time watching town and he bought a few belting players for us as well.
I bet he looks back on his time here with a Chairman like Dean Hoyle and thinks what could / should have been.

Or it could be that he knows if he does not grab a job now he will never be employed again (out of sight out of mind)? Could it be that he knows if he sits around thumb-twiddling he will just hit the bottle? Could it be he is just a blithering idiot of a chancer that does not have a clue? Unbeaten for a year at Town and then no home wins in over a year at Brum...I know which record represents Clark really. Blackpool are down. I tipped it here pre-season, I backed it and I am surer now than ever. Go make yourself 20% profit in 5 months.

Our last match of the season is away at 'Pool. However I suspect that neither team will have anything to play for by the time it comes round. The way some clubs are getting through managers who knows if Clark will even still be there by then?
