So has everyone managed to maintain their faux outrage today? You can't say anything anymore unless it's against a white, English, Christian male,

Im outraged that football has been 'chosen' to stand up to rapists and racists, whilst the rest of society pretends that the few(proved) racists/rapists are footballers, middle aged white men who are associated with football and an elderly white male who seemed to be 'losing' it a bit.. once football is 'sorted' the country can rest in the knowledge that its forced football to clean up its act to come into line with the rest of society who are, apparently as clean whistles? its bollox, its a diversion from the real problems and the really dangerous racists of all colours/creeds...

tacos or other forms of racism. How in the hell can a joke about tacos be racist? I've seen some of the tweets of moral indignation and 'deep heartfelt offence' in response to that joke and it's pathetic. Not the funniest joke in the world, no, but offensive? Come on. Exactly the same thing as me joking about Hose A the Mexican fireman on here the other day. To the folk who missed this 'story', restaurant chain Dave & Buster's is under fire for a tweet about tacos posted Tuesday afternoon that some are calling racist. The joke? 'I hate tacos,' said no Juan ever. Honestly, I really don't know where we're going as a nation. I can't believe anyone of any colour or creed wants to go there though, but it seems almost unstoppable. There must be some very small group of extreme ,PC fundamentalists who are determined to ( and succeeding at ) sanitising every last bit of humour and character out of this nation. They've managed to coach an entire generation to be 'offended', or at the very least , be 'offended' on behalf od someone else who they think should be 'offended'. A few years ago that story wouldn't have been believed. Now you know its true and it doesn't even surprise me in the slightest.

Clarke Carlisle joins the fray??? the usual suspects will appear talking about education whilst schools openly teach hate of homosexuals/Jews and instruct women exactly how to behave and how to be subordinate. Clark and others need to go on tv and start 'talking' about it, they wont because they fear to do so.
Im 53, ordinary background, I was always taught to take people for who they are, not what they are. I lived through the period of jokes about minorities and I am living through the period where anything anyone says can be offensive to somebody somewhere. Neither period is our finest hour. The jokes about Yorkshiremen being 'tight' are still allowed, although I bet anyone south of Nottingham will tell you what colour of person they see in their head when the jokes are told and it wont be an ethnic minority. Similar with jokes about Police Officers being stupid or over officious, are we missing out on being offended?
