Great news, hope he's now making his bins a bit tidier and using the green bin properly too. He was good second half at Fulham but didn't have much of an outlet. And they seemed to have him under control.

Great news. hes sorted himself out and shown enough this season to warrant it. He owes us a couple of great seasons, so hope he can keep his form going.

he was left on his jack jones a lot against Fulham.. taking on 2 and 3 a time without support isn't showing him in his best light..only having holt to try and find isn't either.
he can now have a fine run in the side showing all his qualities and we can sell him for much more money..its a decent deal all round..

But he's shit and doesn't like it up north, you know? Not to mention the state of his bins.... From what i heard there were random surprise inspections and it was only once the club were satisfied they allowed him to sign the new deal

Have to say i thought he was a lost cause and we should get rid last summer.. Glad he has proved me wrong and if he can keep up and improve on his current form, with a contract like that, there could be a few bob to be made in a season or 2

Always had the capability. Only just starting to show his full potential as a match winner. I think there's a lot more to come from him this season and next.

Great news this. Said it before, It was about having the right manager and the coaching staff doing the job in getting the best out of the players and letting them express themselves, We have always had quality we just needed to bring it out of the players, No need to make changes and get rid every time a player has a dip in form.

^^^^^ This
I think it's too easy to put his first couple of season's down to his attitude. He was never managed properly by the previous two managers, nor given the run of games and support that he so obviously required. Thank God for Lillis and Powell.

Fantastic news! Showing what he can actually do now under Powell and can only get better! Just shows that you shouldn't write off players so quick..

He would have been described as another Arfield if he had joined Millwall and shown his current form. I think making consecutive starts has shown that faith in him can be repaid, something he didn't get the chance to do at all last season. Long may his current form continue.

It's very quite on here from all the normal experts no stupid brainless comments, foul or abusive language the reason why ? They where all wrong and not one of them is man enough to admit it.
