My first away game of the season so can't wait, just hope it ends better than my previous 2 visits to the Reebok which ended in 3-0 and 1-0 defeats. Think we'll take around 1500 and sneak a 1-0 victory. UTT

That makes it even worse if non of them have noticed. I would certainly have noticed if Town had moved 6 miles away! I'm still upset about moving from Leeds Road. You can still go every other week with your flat cap & rattle, smoke 20 Woodbines while standing on the centre circle (if it hasn't been nicked, again!) and listen to the roar of the North Stand. Personally, I don't miss Leeds Road at all - never went there, probably like most folk on here?

.........." 16.25% of Season Card holders come from the HD9 postcode area (Holmfirth, New Mill, Brockholes); 15.44% from HD3 (Lindley, Milnsbridge, Oakes); ....15.26% from HD5 (Almondbury, Dalton, Kirkheaton) and 13.3% in HD8 (Kirkburton, Emley, Shepley). 10.44% of 2014/15 Season Card holders currently come from the HD4 area (Berry Brow, Crosland Moor, Netherton) with 10.22% from HD7 (Golcar, Linthwaite, Marsden). That represents 80% of the breakdown, with most of the rest coming collectively from Halifax, Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield postcodes. Read more: downatthemac.proboards.com/thread/91885/season-ticket-geography#ixzz3K0tkZU7CI thought the % of fans outside HD postcodes would be higher - particularly Wakey postcodes which includes Mirfield, Dwesbury, etc. Anyway, for me it doesn't matter where fans come from as long as the team is based in the town that gave it its name - Huddersfield.

The ground is in Horwich which most Bolton fans would not class as Bolton.
I imagine 99% of fans would prefer us to play a stones throw from the town centre but the same % realsie it aint ever going to happen so have stopped moaning about it.
The saddest is thing that the story when we left Burnden was that it was such prime retail land we would make millions, surprisingly that never happened !

Is your chairman still leading the campaign to stop any promotion /relegation between the Championship & the Premiership?

I totally understand why we had to move but the emotion/affection of watching Town playing at the stadium you first saw them as a child are sadly lost forever for us. I guess the only way you'll ever find out was if we were to move again.

I hope we give a certain Mr Lennon some stick on saturday for turning us down/pulling out of the race to get a job with a 'top' championship side. No disrespect to Bolton (and I'm sure the minutes silence will be impeccably observed by us too) but they've got some ways to go before they can be referred to as a 'top' Championship club unless we're talking debts "Neil Lennon turns down chance to manage Huddersfield Town" From chief football writer of Scottish Sun. I feel the same way about New Writtle Street, Chelmsford, but I don't suppose many on here will have seen Jim Standem play or know how exciting a winger Peter Leggatt was or the goal scoring brilliance of Tony Butcher?!! Thought not!

2890167037. 'spell regularly used words wrong'. It should be 'wrongly'. Wrong = adjective. Wrongly = adverb.

Thought not! I did like that old Colchester ground which must be in your neck of the woods. You could smell the piss and liniment percolating upwards through the floorboards in the stand. There was a whelk stall outside the ground.

My Dad had a spell in the Navy so it was Senior Service of Capstan Full Strength for us. I always used to get him 50 in a box for Christmas - you don't see that sort of thing now!

Doubt whether we could have paid his salary where obviously at the macron they don't give a fook about sticking to budget!
