another meaningless and pointless fooking survey where we'll get no feedback and no action.... Funny. You suggested a survey to gauge the interest in season tickets in the south stand only yesterday. That's because there hasn't been a survey on that yet, whereas the above survey asks the same ferkin questions which many have already replied to over the past 3 ferkin years !! How many times can they ask the same bleeding questions...~ ??

The club ask how they can achieve higher attendances, the answer is simple, give the public a winning team. Forget anything else, to get bums on seats people want to watch a winning team, it really is that simple. Its simplistic but true.

I particularly liked this nugget.. Wouldn't a simple yes or no type question have done?

I said as much in the survey, but the club just don't seem to get it. They can have the best cheerleaders, catering facilities, pre-match/half time entertainment that they want but its only a winning team that will tempt the floaters/doubters to come & watch.

How do you build a winning team? Get better players. How do you get better players? Offer higher wages. How do you fund a higher wage bill? Increase your revenue streams. How do you increase your revenue? Get more fans buying tickets. How do you increase the crowd? Build a winning team.

How do you increase the crowd? Build a winning team. How about getting the current players to play better. Powell has had some success with this, whereas Bobbins failed.

How do you increase your revenue? Get more fans buying tickets. How do you increase the crowd? Build a winning team. This sums it up precisely ...Our wage bill last season was £9 million...Leicesters was £40 million.....That said Burnley punched well above their weight and got promoted on a much tighter budget than Leicesters...Burnleys wage bill will have now significantly increased with Premiership wages and i have a feeling we'll be seeing them again in the Championship next season along with the additional baggage !!

We all know how it works but if the club want to increase crowds they need to 'to take the risk' to build a winning team. If not crowds will stay the same. If they want to increase they need to get into the young ones, get them hooked.

How much risk do you want the club to take though, cos the present financer is writing off millions per season just to keep us where we are. And then there's FFP....

Suppose Dean decided to throw another £2M in to the budget, what would you rather him do, invest it in the wages of players. Invest it in the infrastructure of the club to make it more efficient, and potentially valuable.
Or knock £200 of each and every season ticket.

I'm not suggesting massive risk but if the club want success, it comes at a price in modern football. I know its difficult given the new FFP which will be interesting to see how it pans out but I really don't think it'll level the playing field as hoped. The club seem to want to go long to medium term with their strategy but that will not got people in through the turnstiles. We all turn up week in week out cos we're the hardcore but floaters won't.

There is pros and cons for both but 2 million could be the difference between staying in this league and winning promotion to the Premier League. On the club infrastructure, a big investment has already been made on it and there is little or no more big investment needed on that side of things, they just need to keep it going.

I agree on FFP, some clubs just seem to be carrying on regardless of the restrictions.

It's actually quite worrying to realise that the first £70 of your season card revenue will be instantly swallowed up in stadium rent.
