As those who have followed tips i have given on here know, a horse i know very well is Desert Strike. An all weather specialist who normally wins at either Lingfield or Wolverhampton.
Said Horse runs today in the 3.10 Ling, Now while it is more than capable of winning a race like this, it is a furlong over its ideal trip, however its last win was over exactly the same C/D and off of the same rating.
I am convinced though that there is a bit of fiddling going on with it though to get its rating down. Don't go mental on it and watch how it runs. To save me posting again, put it in your notebooks.
Wants to be off of a rating in the low 70's even top 60's. Running in a class 5 or 6. At Lingfield or Wolverhampton, ideally the former over 5 furlong.
Good Luck.

Regarding tips, I see AP McCoy is back today after a couple of weeks out injured. He has a great chance in the 12.40 at Fontwell on Southfield Royale in what looks to be a 2 horse race, might be worth a few £££ at about 11/8.

Desert Strike one of them horses which tends to win when the trainer decides. I know you've been pretty good at reading him colt which is half the battle Tidals Baby is well handicapped in the same race. Disappointing for Mick Appleby ( not often you can say that ) it's now with Lee Carter who also knows the time of day. That's where my 50 p is going ... I'm also liking Lyn Valley at double figure odds in the 2.30 , despite Johnstons abysmal run of form

It never ceases to amaze me how people bet on things that are mostly fixed, have huge variables and where the house has a built in margin of at least 10% anyway. If you had two bets a year with info and knowledge fair enough. Losing money is not fun (i should know, i am a run from Hell). If the trainers are trying to manipulate ratings for later prices its ostensibly bent.

£5 E/W here on both Desert Strike and Tidal Baby. I won £1. Still a lot better than sticking £20 in a savings account. Wish I'd ignored Ted though. lol No offence intended, that's betting for you. Cover your arse and you're more likely to get at least something back, and sometimes just sometimes they both pay off. Not today though.

You should have backed Lyn Valley ew instead

I can't believe Southfield Royale went off at 2/1, sadly I took 13/8. Not much I fancy today but Barton Heather in the 2.55 at Taunton looks solid, won't be much of a price, around 11/10 but might be worth a few bob.

Nearly all online bookies offer Best Odds Guaranteed. Did you bet in a shop ? Never bet in cash these days, all done on the pewter. Many offers to be had - Billie Hills refund up to £25 as free bet on C4 races if you come second is unbeatable. Having said that, free bets seem to be cursed

Yes I bet in shop, Ive got a few accounts but find it a bit too easy, I still like the feel of the cash and the walk up to the bookies won't do me any harm with xmas round the corner.I agree with you on the free bet offer, I think Ive had one go in out of six. Happy punting.
