Can't be bothered to sign up to that forum so i'll answer the clown oh here who said he's seen 3 things a Town fan will never see - 1. Premier League Football - I've seen it and so have thousands of other Town fans. IT WAS JUST CALLED SOMETHING ELSE AT THE TIME!! Football was not invented in the early 90's!! 2. A major Cup Final - the FA Cup is not even a major cup final anymore so to pretend the league cup is a major cup final is stretching things a bit. 3. European football - i nearly split my sides at this one. The Inter Toto Cup!!! The Johnstone's Paint trophy is more competitive and at least you've heard of the teams you're playing against!!!

Groaned when I saw the OP, but after reading the entire thread I reckon 'AskNakhi' came out looking pretty close to the least cringeworthy of the lot.
An embarrassing thread all round.

It would have been more appropriate for him to list seeking re-election to the football league for finishing near the bottom of the bottom league.

Premier League Football - I've seen it and so have thousands of other Town fans. IT WAS JUST CALLED SOMETHING ELSE AT THE TIME!! Football was not invented in the early 90's!! - Technically this is an accurate statement, if he had said town have never played top flight football you'd have a case. 2. A major Cup Final - the FA Cup is not even a major cup final anymore so to pretend the league cup is a major cup final is stretching things a bit. - Come on be reasonable, if you got to the league cup final you'd be pleased!3. European football - i nearly split my sides at this one. The Inter Toto Cup!!! The Johnstone's Paint trophy is more competitive and at least you've heard of the teams you're playing against!!! erm erm erm, yes to be fair i can't argue with this statement Hadn't really come for a debate but, i stuck my two penneth in on this one.

We might never see Town in a major cup final. A slight consolation being we won't see Town being utterly humiliated to the point of looking like a Sunday league Div 5 pub team in a major cup final either.
Will we see Town in the prem ever? Probably one day in truth. The odds are we will. Will it lead to nearly 15 years ( and counting) of decline and ritual lower league humiliation? Probably not.
European football? Who knows- will we still be able to qualify from having fewest yellow cards of the clubs who could be arsed to put themselves forward to play in European football's equivalent of Bingo night at Dewsbury's Mecca? Probably not. We have played at places like Wrexham, and pre season friendlies in ireland and portugal amongst others. That must be equivalent of playing some Fish gutting factory's side from Estonia in the Intowhogivesashit Cup surely.
Other things Town fans will probably never see-
Applying for re-election to the football league. Our club spending over 80% of its history in the bottom 2 divisions. Our 2nd, 3rd and 4th spells in administration. Ou team lining up in kits the same colour as the contents of a baby's nappy. The erection of a spice wrack behind one of our goals. The sight of just 53 Town fans at a Championship away game The sight of just 47 Town fans at a Premiership away game!! Bradford City sign our best player Our players take their kit home to wash. A Hull City player given his own month in our official calendar.
etc etc
