The last time I was selling my book in the St Andrews car park I was moved on by a steward and asked not to stand there any more; there had been a complaint. She refused to elucidate further, so I begrudgingly moved to half-way along the bridge, but I then felt as though I was obstructing the flow of fans, standing as I was, on the pavement. So I have reluctantly decided not to actively sell on the streets, meaning that you can now only get my book directly from me through the post, either via my website or on eBay. The link to my website is below; you'll just have to search for it on eBay and it is slightly dearer as I will have eBay fees to pay as well as those of PayPal. Sorry folks! For info on the contents, visit my website - click on the link below or in my signature (if you can see it!)
You can still order a copy from any bookseller (they won't have it in stock as they have to order directly from me). Buy from MY WEBSITE = YES PLEASE!! International buying option now available!
Buying from my website couldn't be easier - it's cheapish postage and I get ALL the cash (apart from what PayPal creams off).

Is it any good, without giving away the plot?
Who are the heros and villains? Is there any romantic interest?

Seriously though, well worth the few bob. Made a very good Christmas present for my step-dad, all done very easily from home.
Thanks again Roger!

Sorry to hear that you've been forced to move, why on Earth would anyone complain about you being there though? Even more bemusing that a steward would pay heed to any such complaint that more than likely has absolutely no legitimacy. If I were you I'd be demanding an explanation from the steward in question and his/her superior, and possibly from the club too.

Can't be arsed with the hassle, Ben. But again, thanks for the support. Roger, I'm Ben, that's Chris. Please, please, please don't get me mixed up with that fat bastard. It's a very good book, I bought 4 for the family and it's brilliant especially for the golden oldies who love to reminisce.

I've just ordered one via your web site now, looks really good Mansfield!
I just hope this isn't going to kick start my football sticker buying addiction I suffered between the age of 8-11

Try and get some explanation why you were moved on, phone call to the club should do it.
Great little book though I purchased one a while ago!

Presumably its against local hawker/pedlar/street trading bylaws to just stand somewhere trying to sell something without the appropriate license/permit?
I'd add that having been asked to move from the car park (private land), deciding to setup on a bridge (on the same privately owned land) seems a strange decision?!
You'd have been better off decamping to outside the KSDL boundary to public land, perhaps on the roundabout, or back by the traffic lights by the Skoda garage (assuming it is actually legal and/or you have a permit)?

Being moved on could actually be my own fault. I've lost count as to how many times I was asked if it was a programme and whilst my reply was never rude or in any way discourteous I know that I did always offer an opinion on the programme itself this season. Maybe the club got wind of that. Anyway, all water under the bridge now.
