All I know is that it's a three and a half years contract. Wow! That's some commitment from Cardiff to a player who (I believe) is past his best in whatever position you care to play him.

Last week on the Cardiff forum there were a couple of quotes that the fee was £250k, and I got an email from someone on HTSA last night saying the same.

Pelts was a useful squad player and probably still better than Smith defensively. By all accounts he actually played OK in midfield this year, although clearly not to the level of Hogg.
However, if we got around £250k it sounds like great business and means I don't have to read anymore snidey comments about him. Saying that, the same people will find someone else and my money is on Smith or Hudson.
More importantly it will will hopefully see Billing get some game time and maybe even Hanson.

Defensively Pelts is better then smith tbh Would agree it's debatable and i'd hopefully be saying Smith ASAP. However, I certainly won't be giving my head a shake

We all know how these things work, in reality - he was asked to walk (My opinion), Town got what they wanted, Robins kept his "never been sacked" title? Slow Sunday on DATM if we still have this to comment on? Totally wrong,he walked, in fact as hoyle was on holiday it was up to clibbens to deal with it and was told to try and talk robins round into staying, he wouldn't stay, wanted to go Correct. Hoyle discussed it very candidly in his extended interview on radio leeds in August.

I think they're on a par defensively. can't see anything in Peltier to think hes better than smith. When we have the ball, Smith is much better IMO.

Agree, Hudson appears to be the front runner for new DATM scapegoat! Some comments on here about him lately are laughable!

When we have the ball, Smith is much better IMO.When the opposition do I'm with Condescending, also Peltier is a bigger asset in the air from any setpiece attacking or defending. But really pleased he and his 3 year contract have moved on for a second profit as he is not in Powell's first team plans.
