Great to see all the flags out again yesterday and the extra ones the club are lending out.Is there any chance of waving them until the kick off? I notice they were all still by the time our keeper got to his nets. Being a drummer is quite difficult isn't it? - respect to Ringos everywhere! No matter what efforts NSL make, the entertainment and effort on the field just gets worse. Poor Dean Hoyle. Though he makes good signings they soon come down our level. Maybe NSL should turn away from pitch, forget about the match and party. They don't deseve us at the moment.

It was poor in the NSL yesterday and I think there was several reasons for it. Mainly the performance on the pitch. Other things such as no drummer and poor attendance don't helps either. We need more professionally made flags because some of the early homemade ones are beginning to rip and break.

Is there any chance of someone from NSL providing some 1.5 metre poles this Saturday. I've made 14 new flags, bigger than my last lot. All have sleeves so will go straight on to said poles. I was aiming for the Leeds game but done em early

Do they need end caps? Thanks btw. I took some of the worn out flags home Saturday and stitch em up too. While I was in the container I noticed 2 giant blue and white chequered flags, what's happening with them.

If I were to purchase a surfer flag how big do you reckon it'd need to be and what would I have to do to get it in the ground? @billynomates

The girls in the container didn't seem too sure what they were for but they looked brand new. They don't have sleeves in but I could easily do that. I think we will have to wait and see if the club have anything planned for them.

And I guess price wise it would be really expensive too because it will have to be fireproofed. I think over £1000 at least. I think the next thing I'm going to look at is wavy flags around the 3x3 meter mark. You can get them printed with anything on that ultras shop for around £80 or sew one if you can find away to get it fireproofed.

We did surf a 4 metre x 5 metre flag earlier in the season, but they aren't cheap. As far getting it in the ground goes, as long as its got a fire certificate, you submit it to the events panel (which is the safety officer and representatives from KSDL, and the club) for approval. Once it's passed, then you can surf it. The flag needs to be manufactured out of fire retardant material, or if you make it yourself, it has to have a chemical fire proofing agent added, but it MUST have a fire certificate either way.

On ultras shop they're selling sector flags at a euro per square metre. How many metres wide do you reckon middle block is?

For a 10X10 I reckon it would be about £150 for a sewn coloured one. If we want one printed it goes up to the £500 mark.

I think I'm saving for a 3x3 flag. It would cost about £80 for it printed with a design. Or £175 for 10 sewn coloured ones.

Anybody wishing to buy quality fire certificates flags, this is the best online shop. Make sure you select b1 fabric, not classic.

Had to watch stream today. Good atmosphere in the second half but if there's a corner or goal kick at our end get your flags up!

Just bought a bit more fabric to mend and make some more flags. I noticed yesterday in the green container we have plenty flags but not enough sticks. We need more 1.5 metre sticks or bigger please. A few of the flags I've made have gone missing, one with a Yorkshire rose on it took me ages- anybody know where it is? I've noticed the lads at the back don't them much, half hearted when the players come out and never again during the game . We need the give em to people who want them and the rest spread around the first couple of rows where there's plenty of enthusiasm. Flags needs to be waved from when the players come out until the kick off. Been thinking about the Hoyle banner. Can we all keep commenting on it positively to keep it prominent on datm. Halfway there with the money I think. Still don't think we've nailed the perfect design or wording but we're not far off- keep trying. Anyway I thought we did well yesterday considering there wasn't much to cheer on the pitch.

We really need to stay on the ball with the NSL, from my viewpoint yesterday at the far end of the ground, there's enough people in there to be making it better than it currently is, but obviously the game yesterday didn't nothing to act as a catalyst. The truth is though, is that is how it will be under Powell, so we need to make sure that we all continue to make the effort in there. We've got more in number than the singing section, easily, who were very quiet yesterday even though I was sat opposite them. Agree on the Hoyle flag, the design isn't just right yet.

I was waving my flag and some bell end behind me was saying 'fucks sake I can't see anything'. That's what we are up against. Agree we need to identify those who'll fly them but don't know how you'd do that.

I think on Tuesday we're gonna get less flags out, just the best ones to people who want to to see if that makes a difference.

I suppose to beauty of unreserved seats is you can move out of the middle section if you can't see for any reason.

I genuinely wonder why some people come in the FML, don't want to be exclusive but it is frustrating looking around seeing moaners and people who don't sing, as if they don't get the entire premise of the NSL.

Agree we need to identify those who'll fly them but don't know how you'd do that. I'm not the bell end, but I also want to see the game, moderation of waving would be appreciated at exciting moments. Constant waving for a full 88 minutes yesterday would have been acceptable.

What about people that have gone in there for years because its cheap?,what about people who go in there because they can stand where they want with there mates? Its a cheap stand behind the goal for some,as simple as that, does that help your frustration?

Don't see why that should lessen my frustration at their lack of participation?

I just go to the toilet and knock one out,,that works for me Don't think I asked for advice but thanks for that, hilarious. In conclusion: I am under the assumption that it is in most people's interest to create a better atmosphere and thus in standing in the FML I also assumed they might want to participate with those around them. Obviously I'm wrong in making that assumption, and as someone who wants to see the NSL progress that is frustrating.
