OK, disappointing, but at least everyone will want to be there, rather than just turning up because they have a ST. Personally, looking forward to it!

At £12 for adults and £5 for under 18s if bought in advance (which you can do on-line) this is the perfect opportunity for all those wingers out there who complain about ticket prices to come along and see two championship clubs. If they are not going to come along at these prices then quite frankly they are not going to come at all. So if you are still not going to turn up it would be interesting to know exactly what pricing structure will make you turn up.

We have season cards because we want to be there. Do you think we get them through the post like junk mail? Daft you say? None taken, I say! You are almost obliged to go to every game, regardless of how appealing it is, when you have a ST. For cup games, where you are required to pay extra, you are truly "voting with your feet". Not daft at all you see, just a measurement of the additional commitment by those attending on Sat.

I'm going and 8000 ish would be a decent crowd at this time of year. Would also like to see Joe Lolley start, not seen enough of him to form an opinion .I don't think CP will make too many changes and hopefully we will get the win and a decent draw in the next round.

Let's see which one turns up.. There is only one - and it's lightweight. Looking on a Reading forum afew weeks ago & it mirrored ours from the last few seasons.. To say he only had a year left on his contract, to get £750k guaranteed was some good business imo.. He flatters to deceive in most games & we seem a much better midfield unit without him.. Just hope he doesn't smash one of those belters in he's capable of hitting against us!

Be a good measure of how far we have progressed having beaten them earlier on in the season

I have no means of proving it, but if I had to bet I would have few quid on 90% plus of people attending on Saturday being SC holders. By the way, I look forward to going to every game. They are all appealing to me because I am watching my team - in any competition. That's what being a fan is.

Going in NSL for first time since its launch to see what all the fuss is about.......

Instead of folks having a pop at the club, lets see the start of a new year and transfer window by all getting off our backsides and making an effort to watch our club hopefully win the tie and have a good cup run. I know cash is tight post xmas but im not sure the powers that be could do more than reduce prices to a tenner and a fiver, and many folks are on holidays so getting a ticket aint a big issue.

I wonder how many tickets we will sell if we win and play Man U @ home in next round?
The stupid part about it is that if that DID happen, Man U would have a team of kids playing anyway.......

They are all appealing to me because I am watching my team - in any competition. That's what being a fan is. Have to disagree.. A fan can be an idiot because of the fanatical side of his behaviour. A supporter realizes that everyone at their club is human and inevitably make mistakes. Some mistakes made by chairmen still have to be supported as the need to get the best out of them is still paramount and in most cases cannot be rectified due to financial restraints or there may be hope that their luck might change. Most mistakes made by managers are only noticable during defeat or draws and a fanatic would never look into the reasoning of the so-called mistake or selection with the long term health of the club in mind. A supporter also realizes what he bought into when he inherited the love of Huddersfield Town and doesn't have any unrealistic ambition but only that of hope for a change of fortune. Some people have lost the meaning of support and why it is necessary, instead they constantly draw on all the negatives and systematically pull down all efforts of Huddersfield Town getting 100% out of what we've got and what we can afford.

Ten pound is a bargain, this time last year there was more excitement about going to the hole that is Grimsby than this tie at home to a fellow championship club. Looking forward to it, as well as a few pots in the canalside before and after the game.
Maybe those that attend will get priority tickets should we draw a big team in the next round?

As far as I'm concerned, EVERY time that blue and white shirt is worn, it's meaningful and matters. I'll be their, because it's Town, I'm not just going to turn up if it's man city rocking up at the JSS. Im there because I support town. I expect the players, club and management to take this game as serious as a cup final because fans are paying money and expect that shirt to be respected. 2-0 town.
