Don't think many have a problem with these two leaving, but to Rovrum is just insanity - a team we're hoping takes up one of the two relegation spots alongside Blackpool. Can't believe the powers that be have sanctioned this!

I hope sending two players out to relegation rivals doesnt come back to bite us on the arse, I dont think it will re Danny Ward as hes shit, and we need to get players out to get players in.

They are not good enough footballers to get into our first team, we cast them off somewhere else and they are suddenly world-beaters.

They struggled against Akinfenwa...... You would get that week in week out in the championship. Its obvious i meant that we would struggle due to our lack of Physicality in a physical league.

Two players with the potential to make us regret that move, but then they're not really doing it here. We've got Scannell, Bunn & Lolley - plus Jake Charles coming through the youth. Moving Ward & Hammill on makes sense. It's a shame that it's to one of our rivals, but it's not like they're key players for us. Jake Charles hasn't played since 'turning' his ankle pre-season, has he?! A long time out, could really hinder his 'development' I thought I remembered seeing footage of him playing earlier this season, although I may be wrong.

To send them to a relegation rival is insane, whether they're getting in our team or not. Last season Ward was our joint top scorer & Hammill was our top assister.. They might not be doing it for us this season but there's a good chance atleased one of them could make the difference for them.

I don't think anyone's suggesting that, but they do strengthen one of the teams we probably need to finish above & that's why people are questioning the wisdom. As I said though, we need to see who comes in.

Can't believe the powers that be have sanctioned this! I agree with the sentiment, but perhaps we didn't have a choice? We're clearly hoping to have a proper clearout, so if a club comes in and offers to take on 2 of our supposedly unwanted players, can we afford to reject them and start looking for a League One club to take them? Ultimately, if we consider these players not good enough for our squad, then the powers that be shouldn't be too concerned over Rotherham having them. But I do know what you're getting at..

Exactly, we can't loan them to s good championship team, they're not good enough. They won't wabtbyo go to a league 1 siide, and even if they did, it might be difficult to find a club that would pay enough of their wages. Is Bechio going to leeds now, I thought he was at rotherham for the season, if he's on the move we should try and get him here. Would be an ideal partner for Wells or Vaughan.

Let them go on loan to a relegation rival, pretend we are going to get rid of them permanemtly but this is a ploy, they are going to play badly (not difficult they have done it before), get Rotherham relegated and come back to our "staying up" party. A masterstroke! We could send a couple of players to Blackpool, Wigan and Leeds to do the same.

Could we be preparing a deal for Ben Pringle to come the other way? It's the only way i can see these loan deals making any sense.

If all this is true then Rotherham must think they are good enough to help them stay up - so as someone says perhaps there is a deal in it that is of value to us.

baffled ! Rotherham in mire with us so we loan them 2 players ! It depends which way you look at it, if it frees up space to bring better players we need in then its a good move. Theres about a dozen other clubs were realistically competing with in the division.

I see Rotherham have sold Alex Revell to Cardiff and Millwall have sold Scott Malone to Cardiff as well so if anything the teams around us at the bottom are selling their better players and in the Rotherham case potentiaaly replacing with poorer ones.

An arrogant set of loans, both match winning players on their day. We could regret this badly if our season goes wrong. Think Rotherham will be pleased.

They also accepted a bid from milwall for pringle, so he is likely to go as well.

Fuck sake, why have they been loaned out to a rival, seriously have to question Powell on that one! There ll finish above us then!

So are some people saying we should not loan/sell anybody our clubs beleives (and many supporters)are not good enough to play for Huddersfield Town thereby freeing up funds to bring in someone who the club believes will be better just because they are a relegation candidate as well as potential us.

Rotherham have now released their winger Febian Brandy, replacing him with ward or hammill maybe, if thats the case then its a good move by them

Fuck sake, why have they been loaned out to a rival, seriously have to question Powell on that one! There ll finish above us then! Baffling logic. Neither has managed to get in to our first team this season. Hammill may need a fresh start after some personal issues. If we want to bring players in we have to move players out. If Rotherham are the only side to have expressed an interest then we don't have much option. Unless you prefer us to keep paying them to sit on the bench? We have two, possibly three wingers ahead of them in the pecking order. It's hardly Marcus Stewart all over again. So Stead, Ward, Hammill gone. Get shut of Gerrard and Patterson too and we've created space, and money, for hopefully 3-4 replacements.
