Chill the fuck out everyone, has hoyle ever let us down? Give him some credit,we need to free up wagea to make room for people coming in, so that's what s been done, doesn't matter who to,it doesn't make Rotherham any stronger than they are given who they are shipping out, probably weaker,we will be stronger.... Ffs chill.

Who is running this circus? Why send them to rivals? Ridiculous. Massive overreaction, normal for this board i suppose

You can't run a circus with under performing acts every week. Give it time and see what CP has up his sleeve, I trust our board and management team enough to be positive we will be replacing them with much better wingers.
Scannell and Bunn have been head and shoulders above them this season. Lets see what we have on 31st Jan and then we can make assumptions as to why we have loaned out two wingers.

League 1 Lets get one thing clear. if they have gone and whoever town bring in it will take a while before anyone can say its a good deal or a bad one. Town have to move playeres out to bring players in. the overreaction oin here shows how little some supporters know about the game. lets assess at the end of january before we write the club of.

That must be why he brought Powell in. Dean will get him 29 new players next season and get us promoted back to the Championship. Clever.

Makes Powell's starting XI vs Reading look even shitter (somehow). Start a guy you're gonna get rid off and give Lolley 4 mins

The end of January that's what worries me there are 12 points to play for this Month & with every game we play without replacement's Holt included. We have a weaker team / bench.

Time will tell, but giving a relegation rival a leg up by improving their squad is a bad idea imo.. Don't get me wrong i think it's the correct decision to move both players on & free up their wages, but loaning them to Rotherham, a team struggling at the wrong end like us, could come back & bite us in the arse.. Ward got 10 goals in this division last season & Hammill got the most assists for us.

How can anybody criticise Ward & Hammill for their contributions this season when they've hardly played? The same could be said of Gerrard.
All of these players contributed a damn sight more than most last season but for whatever reason Powell doesn't seem to rate them. If we were riding high in the league then his opinion would be justified, but we're not so it isn't in my opinion.
If they don't get picked then can't contribute!

Hammill....done nothing for 12m and hardly played since august. If it comes and bites us up the arse then its the managers fault cos there are cheaper and better players than either of the two above, both of whom are in our upper wage bracket. We arent giving em a leg up - we are loaning em players who belong in the bottom 6 of the championship.......we aspire to be higher than that and have the ability to be so. Its now up to the manager to bring in new recruits to make sure it happens.

seems strange to have loaned them out when their deals end in the summer,as rovrum could have just taken over their contracts till end of season, which to me says we are still paying some of their wages to help a relegation rival out which would be daft. if this is not the case and we are contributing nothing then its good busineess as all their wages are free for us to invest in better and so long as its better it doesnt really matter where they have gone if we progress the squad quality and dynamics.

Why all the panic. I can't remember the board ever letting us down over transfers. Even when Rhodes went we got beckford and Vaughan.
These two leaving is in the plan and I am sure they will be replaced by better players. If they do well at Rotherham well that's a good thing. It's a shame they didn't do it here. Now let's see who CP brings in, I'm sure we will end up happy.
Clayton and Norwood out.... Coady and butterfield in... and the books balance.

I find this alarming, at the moment.... It's like Marcus Stewart all over again. We all know that they both have bags of ability if not the consistency. Our own players could send us down.... A bit like Marcus Stewart took Ipswich up.. Hopefully we have somebody coming in . Ben Pringle ? It's like Marcus Stewart all over again........ I've got my head in my hands right now.

They're loaned out with a view to make them permanent in the summer, aren't they? If so, I'm guessing Rotherham pay their wages in full.

If it's just Rotherham who want them, then it's a straight yes or no. Maybe Town want to keep Rotherham onside in order to do other business with them.
