Didn't have to queue last night! We'll ignore the fact there was only about 8500 in the stadium and call that progress for Sodexho yeah? ;-)

Does the pie loyalty scheme extend to where they were selling them just outside the Kilner Bank stand at 2 for a pound after the match last night.

I dropped my dad at the ground and parked up at Canalside last night. I called in KFC and bought a freshly ground coffee for £1.49, I met dad just inside the Kilner Bank stand and on seeing my drink he decided to go to the snack bar for a coffee himself and got charged £2 for basically a vending machine coffee

Two quid for a cup of mud. Coffee - another staggeringly simple product sodexo can't deliver. Sent from my GT-I9505 using proboards

Went to the catering 'outlet' at the north end of the Kilner yesterday for 2 chicken balti pies ...sold out. So we bought the hot dogs, same problem as above, the lad couldn't get the 'dog' in the bread without ripping the bread to bits...we then walked over to the other side of the concourse for the tomato sauce dispenser, pulled the hot dogs out of the bags and they just crumbled into a mass onto the floor...so chucked them in the bin. When we turned round to have a moan at the 'outlet' the shutters were already down. H Class, sounds like the im a celeb jungle hut, when he slams the window shut. I was just waiting to get a bovril yesterday to thaw myself out. Only 4 in front of me, the speed they serve is like slow motion. Ahh Kiosk Keith strikes again they must of got the dingo dollar challenge wrong

I cannot ever recall in my 60 odd years ever chucking owt in the bin because it was inedible. If that`s the way it is, don´t patronise them, would you go for a pub lunch, accept it was shite, but keep going back to the same place week after week ?
Many have raised the issue before I know, if the product is so appalling don`t keep giving them money, take a sandwich and a flask of soup - and save yourself a fortune. After a while, they will cotton on, if nobody supports them.

Wouldnt touch the other muck they sell but I do enjoy a pint at half time and they kind of have the market cornered on that front! Agree though not sure why people bother with the food when you can easily buy your own outside and bring it with you.

Direct golf lower today I was queuing for a bovril, the lady in front got 3 hot dogs and the guy couldn't even get them in the bread rolls right and no amount of poking with his"un-gloved" finger could entice the semi firm sausage into the slot in the soft bread. He even struggled to get it to fit in when it split into 4 and he only put 3 pieces in, then he couldn't get any of them in the right sized bag one in a sack one in a 10p mix bag and one somewhere in between. And we pay over the odds for that service he could of been scratching his arse on his way for all we know haha this is fucking brilliant! but i really don't think its intended good form! Ooo err missus !!

3 weeks without comment on this thread.
Dixons Ice Cream van in the FML, bought the lad an ice lolly - a quid. High Street prices, lad was happy, I'm happy, everyones a winner.

I didn't spot that (though I did get something from the Dixons van not far from where the away coaches park)

I think we need to find a new pie supplier.
I'm partial to a chicken balti but they are not a patch on the ones at Sheff Wednesday.

Bit quiet from Sodexo on here - I guess they have run out of enthusiasm? Maybe they've actually made improvements. Be interesting to hear if anybody has found the service has improved, the lack of negative comments on here suggest it may have. Dixons Ice Cream van was in the FM lower again on Saturday, an absolute winner that, especially as we were all sat basking in the sunshine all afternoon.

I do believe though that SOMEONE has run out of enthusiasm, whether it is Sodexo or we posters remains to be seen?

Wil family coming in force on Saturday. Sodexo you need to triple your order of hotdogs, ketchup will be needed and many staff should be employed. We will be ravenous and you stand to make a mint if you play your cards right on the day!

Last week I went to get a soft drink before the game (driving) in the Revel Ward Upper and asked for Sprite and I got told we have no sprite so I asked if they had any through at the other bar, they checked reluctantly I might add and no sprite there either and this is 2pm! On top of that I know that at half time they had completely sold out of Chocolate bars which is ridiculous especially given the attendance that day. Their lack of stock also renders some of their "Meal Deals" pointless and unobtainable.
In my opinion it is way overpriced because for the amount of stock they should be buying there economies of scale must allow them to sell it cheaper and still make a healthy profit, add to that the fact the I generally find the staff useless, rude and severely lacking in customer service skills coupled with poor quality produce generally and it really puts you off.
A long way to go before they could class catering at the ground any better than poor in my opinion.

2.40pm Britannia rescue. Fancied a bottle of water. Only 3 staff on the bar. Waited 10 minutes for one of the staff to serve two guys in front of me. The staff was so unsure of the order he asked about half a dozen times. He had no clue on the complicated till and had to ask what I thought was the team leader several times. PLEASE HIRE COMPETENT STAFF!! Anyone with confidence would have served several people in the same length of time.

They ran out of Balti pies at before 2:45 at one of the kiosks, you'd think with a crowd of 17000 turning up they may have ordered a bit more stock in
