Hanson, upon reflection, decided to take Parkinson's advice....

Assuming this isn't complete bollocks, I feel sorry for the guy already as people have written him off before he's even signed.

What I'm saying is, the op said that he would be signed within two hours. At approximately the time he said this, James Hanson was probably in the middle of a press conference in Bradford bigging up the Chelsea game. So James Hanson would of had to seriously get his skates on in leaving that conference and very quickly get him and his agent down to canalside and literally scribble on a bit of paper to clench a deal. It didn't happen. Load of bollocks.

If Hanson comes can you imagine the crap he's going to get if he fails to win the headers? Its a big risk for a lad who only seems to turn it on in the cup and purely based on his previous partnership with Wells, but Nahki needs a partner to work with and it could just click straight away.
However its probably just a load of old hogwash.

The OP was quite derogatory to one of Superlopez's speculations back in August, so making stories up is something that he/she feels strongly against. Maybe only if made up by other people ?

Never posted a transfer rumour so wouldn't post this if I didn't know it to be true. To be announced in the next two weeks.
Edited for accuracy

No idea if he's coming here or not, but where's the idea that he's crap come from? The only times I've seen him play, mainly in their League Cup run, he caused teams all sorts of problems and seemed almost unbeatable in the air. No guarantee he'll be able to make the step up, I just don't see how he can be so easily written off.

So besides the right back who is coming in presumably to replace Pelts we have not got anyone to prop up central defence or to give Wells some support up front? Similar season to the last two. Cant wait.

If he did sign, id be amazed if he wasn't considerably better than Holt was in the games he played for us after Rosler had been sacked.
Would he go on mazy runs and score boatloads of goals with his deft finishing and quicker than lightening skills and movement? No.
Would he be a big physical presence that the opposition defenders will struggle to handle and hold the ball up and lay it off to Wells/ Scannell high up the pitch? Yes.

Save this particular signing of the heroic Bradford cup king who felled Chelsea singlehandedly for the 11th hour, for maximum angst.

Also, his scoring record, albeit in a lower league, is decent at about 1 in 3. Especially when you consider he only scores one type of goal.

Cant wait. The right back said he prefers to play in the centre at todays press conference, so he'll "prop up" the centre of defence. We don't need to replace Peltier, since he has no role in the starting XI.

Hanson and Wells looked useful enough when they played briefly against us a couple of seasons back in the league cup, I think he'd be OK in certain games.
