I'm not trying to be funny but are any of you surprised the YEP and anything with Leeds bias predicts a Leeds win?

I agree with that, but with the caveat that a rule is in place that money OVER a set amount put in by an owner is non-returnable, a gift in essence. The idea of financial fair play attempting to stop 'lucky' clubs having an unfair advantage, whilst at the same time allowing £60m of parachute payments over 4 years, is laughable. Agree. yeah,I do too. I'm not a fan of FFP, but it's the rules, although badly managed...Even with FFP the 'bigger' clubs with most fans (due to bigger cities) will always benefit more than clubs like Town, or even the Yeovils of this world..so it has a built in bias. If the owners want to plop a load more dosh into the club, then as you suggest...it's a non returnable gift... Dean will be quaking in his boots of that was the case...

If anyone from the club reads this thread today can they put this on the dressing room wall to show the lads how delusional these fucking pricks are yeah, but he's right..it will be our biggest gate of the season, and for many Town fans their only trip to the JSS this season .. so what ? They'll bring 4,000 we might have 15,000 or so, beating our previous highest of 14,400 home fans for the Middlesbrough game.. If you're not offended by the fact he's saying we only turn up to watch a big club (referring to Leeds) then you must be the most placid town fan alive. It's actually disgusting that the so called journalist (Leeds wanker) has been allowed to put that in the Yorkshire post.

spoke to a mate who is a leeds fan(proper for 40 plus years- no billy big time etc)..
he said he thought he had been at a different match from the leeds biased journalists for the Bournemouth game..
they got outplayed/outfought for virtually the whole game and as bnmuff hit the post 3 times and missed a penalty in the last 10 minutes, he thought they would have been lucky get a point never mind win the game..
you know its bad when the press are telling lies and making up better performances than actually happened..
I often think the press have talked to someone who went to a town match rather than actually going themselves but the report on the leeds v bnmuff match in the YP was downright lies..

Interesting that Ward Hammill Stead and Dixon (his fuck up for their second is awful) are all responsible for goals in the game and are potentially leaving us this transfer window

The YEP have always been c**** and always will be, they always predict Leeds to win! The YEP is a Leeds based paper, it is printed there. They don't attend games and are predicting the result off a lucky win against Bournemouth!

Can't wait now for tomorrow, always an emotional day when our blue and white lions tackle the Beeston scum, come on you mighty Terriers. UTT

How is the weather up there for those of us having to get an early start tomorrow. Is there any significant risk of postponement?

Now then lads nearly there for Round 2 of Our / Your * Delete as appropriate , Cup Final. Looking forward to it a lot even tempered by the fact I will not be attending as couldn't get a ticket via Leeds due to such a quick sell out and on balance have decided I cannot trust myself behind enemy lines to keep zipped if and when Alex Smithies gives us at least one of his now customary derby gifts.
I will be out to face the music / pretend to be humble * Delete as appropriate amongst both Town / Leeds friends and acquaintances soon after listening to Popey & Whelan on Radio Leeds from a painfully close distance in my front room where all breakable objects will have safely been put out of celebrations way.
My prediction? Both teams to score, one side to finish with 10 men, a penalty to be scored, Lewis Cook and Luke Murphy to play very well and Leeds not to lose. DATM to be very annoyed afterwards at the continuous "All Leeds Aren't We" Chant and at having to be kept in your own ground afterwards. Such a shame it's not on TV.

I'll go 2-1 Town as we never dick you, and you seem to struggle at our spot. I think you're one of the better posters on here but hell will freeze over before I wish your team good luck.
