Good game on bbc1 so far, Bristol playing really well and Freeman looks like a very good player. You can see why they're at the top of league 1.

Matt Smith's giving the defence a few issues from set pieces.

Matt Smith's giving the defence a few issues from set pieces. Reckon he'd be worth a cheeky £500k bid? Fulham will surely listen to offers? O'Grady for £200k from under the noses of Sheff U could be a good move also.

Unstoppable header that. Shame.

Unstoppable header that. Shame. Bristol City have just lacked that final ball, been the better team overall.

If we are just after a big man who Wells can play off (don't particularly think Wells is reliant on this type of strike partner) then I'd have though Smith or O'Grady would both be decent enough. I don't presume they're on huge wages, both have experience at this level and shouldn't kick up too much of an issue if they're benched if we opt to play Vaughan.

Was thinking mesen, he's not given them anywhere near £500K worth of issues.

Both can hold the ball up, strong in the air & fairly realistic options imo.

Doesn't seem to offer much else other than a big presence upfront, but he did have 2 headers cleared off the line and should have probably scored from one later on. Is £500k what Fulham paid for him? I'd probably take him but it's have to be less than that.

Brighton need to wake up or they're going to get a real tonking here.
