Can't say I'd be over the moon. In fact I'd throw myself in the river.

he's scored quite a few goals this season, I think he's one of the top scorers in league one. not sure whether he could make the step up, but if we want to see if he can then I dont see why not

Have seen this guy a few times -- quite skillful for a big guy, and can beat a man (dribble). Good finisher.
Only downside is he's 29 now - should have got him 3 or 4 yrs ago.

Andy Williams we may as well kept Danny Boy Ward. Disagree. I'd be over the moon river if we bought him!

If we are going down the league one route we should be looking to bring the lad from chesterfield in!

To be Fair he could give us "some sweet memories" as it wouldnt be too hard to fill "danny boys" boots. or there may just be another "stranger on the shore" were gonna sign instead. After all i personally expect someone to sign following"the exodus story" we have all just witnessed. After all it is "a time for us" to finally sign a striker and fulfill the "impossible dream" of having at least three decent strikers, then "may each day" give us "sweet memories"

Why are so many of these threads so cryptic. have we been linked with him, signed him or do you just fancy him?
The net say's he is 28 not 29, in good form for a team top of the league, 2nd top scorer in league 1.
I've never seen him play, but that sounds all right for a 3rd choice. Would depend on the financial deal of course, but the club have been nailing these recently and would expect a reasonable fee and moderate contract.

18 goals in 26 league games.. then would he be worth a gamble? Now Solitaire's the only game in Town ? (… and "in his 29th year", means he's 28, daft phrasing though it is).
