BBCI'll say one thing for Mandaric... he gives the lie to the idea you can't make money out of owning football clubs - he must have trousered several healthy piles of cash from his various dealings...

I can imagine over on Owlstalk their fans are already making up songs for when the likes of Rhodes, Ings and Ronaldo arrive.

my Wedensday mate is very septical about this and although hes glad its gone thru hes worried they will become the next bankrolled big club which he doesnt want. i dont think they will be doing a chelsea or man city though just enough to become an established prem club again.Would town fans want something like this or u happy with what hoyle is doing ?

Looks like they mean business. Just signed a striker from CSKA Sofia for £3.5 million
Edit: Sounds like Sky have got it wrong, more like £350k

3 in so far i think. Their fans will be getting giddy as fuck. Just waiting for my Wednesday mates to start with the cock swinging texts. 4 years from now they'll still be a mid table championship side getting all excited at some new owners coming in. Hopefully

I wouldn't bet against them getting in the playoffs! They're strong defensively and if this Romanian Sergiu Bus can do the business (especially at home) they'll get close.
The problem for Town is that, if Wednesday do again get promoted, a significant number of occasional Town fans will prefer to go and spend their hard earned watching Premiership football at Hillsborough (with an easier drive back to most South Huddersfield villages) rather than struggle through Huddersfield's traffic after a Championship match at Leeds Road.

Got to be on a windup. Or thick. Why would anyone go there to watch Premiership football when they could easily bag tickets to see Manchester City play. Agree about the rest though. Look to have made some good signings this window.
