He did us a favour on Saturday by preserving the gap between us and Millwall.
Good player on his day and harshly treated by Powell. I know who I would rather have at our club.

No, like Joe Lolley. Powell would have him playing left mid in a 442 no doubt. Lionel Messi could play anywhere outfield on the pitch in this league and be a class above. I'm not sure what your point is about Powell to be fair, are you accusing him of playing people out of position? Or are you just having a go because we lost yesterday.

I don't know why he persists with rigid formations like 442 or 352. Two strikers don't work when neither of them are capable of coming short. It's frustrating because he had us playing some good football earlier on in the season in a 4231 formation. I would say he is capable but it is his risk averse attitude that is holding us back.

I think its difficult when you've got to factor in player inconsistency. If everybody is fit, we have a very good 12 players who you'd like to see starting. Trouble is, which one do you drop? Drop any one and the formation can change significantly. I thought Vaughan and Miller looked good together on Tuesday tbh. I'd be trying to shape the team around those 2, if we are going to persist with 2 strikers. I've said before that I don't thing a Vaughan and Wells partnership looks like anything special at this moment in time. Not enough physical presence from either.

On what basis?! Tried out wide.........crap, crap, good, crap, mediocre, mediocre Tried up front...........crap, crap, good, crap, mediocre, mediocre. Nobody ever doubted he had ability but to say he was harshly treated is ridiculous! By the way did you see his goal?! Would barely have scraped over the line until the miwaw donkey smashed it inadvertently! May well play well on sat and indeed could win them the game.....but it won't change the fact he was poor here for most of his permanent spell.

The promise he showed when he came on loan and then initially when he signed was exciting. Unfortunately he never pushed on and made best use of the talent that he undoubtedly possesses.

You don't half come out with some crap mate. If he's so risk averse as you put it, how come we're 11th highest scorers in the division? Virtually all the way through this season, we've been higher in the goals scored table, than the actual league table. I don't know what your definition of risk averse is, but it surely ain't mine. The fact is CP isn't generally a negative manager, but you seem to formed a one dimensional view of him that isn't borne out by the table / results etc. and you're incapable of changing it or taking a more balanced view. For god's sake pal - if CP is risk averse, how would you describe the Wednesday manager, given that we've scored nearly 50% more goals than them!?

A manager doesn't win enough games - he doesn't win enough games. A manager wins some games - the football isn't good enough. The football improves - the manager is too risk averse.
What will it be when a manager starts taking risks? The team aren't balanced across the middle of the park? Nobody plays in the spaces like David Silva does...
