FWIW I think it should be something like this. With Hoyles ugly mug as a two-stick held up above a banner. Add another dimension to the display and I'd imagine it'd probably be cheaper than a massive flag. Obviously this isn't a two-stick but you get the idea. The problem is with these Ben is that we're restricted to certain pole sizes, and can only hold these up at the start of games. If we go for a surfer size, then not only can we surf it, but we can keep it on display during the game along the empty seats. Hadn't thought of that. The restrictions are fucking ridiculous, was talking to some HF lads and they can't believe it. Suggested them telescopic poles but don't know what the stance is on them?

Can it be bigger than some of the banners we have at the moment - some of them look a bit on the small side. I'm sitting half way in the Kilner Bank stand. #JustSaying I'd like it to be a crowd surfer size. It's difficult though because of cost. The thin long banners are cheap, for example the we fear no foe banner cost £60. A crowd surfer will cost around £600 If we were saving up for a surfer I'd be less inclined to put DH or any other person for that matter. Just thinking that it's a long term investment and should therefore have something timeless on it such as the (or just plain colours).

Must admit it'd be rather funny to have a North Korean style flag with 'Our Glorious Leader' on it.

It's useful to put on DATM - as more often than not you will recieve some vociferous feedback which is totally uncalled for - anyway #JustSaying

If Giants fans are putting up a flag of Davy (and they've even done it in Mekon green, FFS!)... Then surely the correct response is to issue a D(e)an Dare flag Or maybe not.

It will be a nice surprise for him Unlikely he's on here every minute looking for anything negative being said so he can justify selling up . As much as I appreciate the success we have had under Dean Hoyle I think the hero on here is a bit OTT . He is a very rich man who bought himself a very expensive present that is all . No more deserves hero than the hard working Town fan who spends his/hers hard earned spare cash following Town . He deserves respect for the charity work he does a lot more than he does for being Town chairman .

I'm picturing Deano, shoulders up, superimposed hovering above the stadium, and then in homage to his previous business interest and some of his more critical fans, the words "Retard Factory", using the same font as the Card Factory obviously, maybe a bit of blue and yellow tinting as well. That would work?

Words aren`t really required. The picture of the man will say it all.

Most of the charity fundraising is directly linked to HTAFC.. Pedal for pounds, YAA, The Breakfast club, etc. He's a legend for many reasons, to say he bought the club as a present to himself because he's wealthy is wrong.. He's a lifetime supporter & knew without his help & serious investment the club was heading out of existence, which deserves all the recognition he gets, from most fans anyway!

We'll set up a new donations page ASAP so we can begin to fund this.

I think of we can raise enough, a big flag like this would be a nice touch aswell as the surfer/banner. This looks class. I reckon would cost about £50-80.
IF someone could post the pic up from my link that would be great, I'm on phone so can't upload images.

A good cause, Dean in my opinion has had a hugely positive impact on our club, and well worth a flag. ( it's Gareth by the way )

He runs HTFC very well indeed imo but it's not life saving or anything. Having met him a few times he doesn't like the status or hero at all. I wouldn't think he'd like anything like in Hoyle we trust (deification) or his face in big print. It's embarrassing. He's not a big ego character unlike plenty of chairman. One dean Hoyle HTFC would be great and a nice gesture though. Simple is best IMHO.

When the funds are in place i think we should upgrade to a 20ft x 15ft surfing flag.

I'll have a new fundraising link set up tonight, specifically for this flag. Sorry about the delay folks but unsurprisingly, there are fees involved with these fundraising websites, and in true Dean Hoyle fashion, we're making sure we get the best value.
Anyway, go easy on the take aways, beer, and valentines gifts this weekend. There a more pressing issue that needs that spare pound in your pocket
