You know who you are... Whining on for three days ... Whinging at the realists ... blinded by your loyalty to HTAFC ... Town lost 3-0 without offering much in possession or attack
Time to come on and give your match verdicts... Or maybe you'll bury your heads again.
I thought we were Premiership bound given the reaction on Tuesday night? Just shows how folk overreact on here.

Seems an odd reaction to appear to be so happy that we lost.

WHERE ARE YOU WHERE ARE YOU
Not sure why anyone is surprised, we can't string two performances together at the moment. Good to see us go for it at 2-0 down though and bring a defender and a defensively minded midfielder on

Every one knows somebody that pops up only when times are bad and sticks the knife in, mostly they are the cnuts of the world.
The manager at work who never compliments, only berates. The mate down the pub who you wish would leave two pints ago etc.
Those people are the ones who you never see unless there is a drama that they can w*nk off to.
Everyone else can see it but them.

only 2nd game home or away ive missed.. sometimes, not often, your business has to come first.. be honest it wasn't the 'cost'...
2000 people 'turned up' if only another 11 wearing shirts and one wearing a suit had....
Think I worked harder this afternoon than our back 3 did...

Think I worked harder this afternoon than our back 3 did... How can you pass that comment?! You saw nothing!!!!!!! No issues with you not being there per se....neither was I as my family commitments took precedence, but it's not as simple as they didn't try hard enough or the manager is poor! We clearly concede too many goals, but coming on the back of 2 clean sheets I think the manager has a right to expect better than he got today from his players - and he has said so. My only concern right now is powells transfer track record - poyet, Edgar, miller have been mixed to say the least. By contrast, the consistency he has brought into bunn, scanz, butterfield and Hogg have impressed me. Give him a chance though fella - he will be well aware that the summer transfer activity this year is vital, particularly after robins and or the board made such a hash of last years and we got off to such a god awful start!

This board is getting a bit daft nowadays - we should split it into 3 parts...
1. For negative whinging buggers, the sort who might find a tenner on the floor and bemoan their bad luck at it not being a twenty... 2. The positive brigade who occasionally post when we win and when they find the time to drag themselves away from 'supporting' whichever team is at the top of the PL... 3. For Town fans...
At the moment I'm not sure which one would have the most posts...

I have one moan that grates with me at the moment and i know Dean Hoyle and Chris Powell both said they would be looking to try and deliver the goods on the issue. Playing a system to entertain and impose ourselves on other teams.. Mark Robins had a problem with this part of his tenure at the club and failed to bring in the kind of signings that could deliver this kind of football and the 0-4 defeat first game and the supporters feelings towards Robins mean't that he lacked the backbone to carry on.. Powell came in and we were already in a dogfight and deep in relegation trouble, Powell has since had to play a system to gain enough points to avoid relegation but has also tried to keep a positive slant in the team with players like Bunn and Scannell playing with a front two. The players he needs and the final pieces of the jigsaw didn't transpire in the transfer window as the club are not willing to sign just for signings sake. Unfortunately there are 100's of players clogging up the premiership and Championship just sitting on generous wages and unwilling to move for the kind of wages clubs can afford without putting their clubs in jeopardy. It may require patience and time for HTFC to assemble the squad that will genuinely stand toe to toe with the ex premiership or big spenders of this division but it won't be at the expense of the clubs financial stability with money being thrown at it. What it will take is genuine support and not the kneejerk, short-term, unrealistic tantrums of the internet warrior or the negative supporter who's never changed the tune since Marcus Stewart got sold...

I think a lot of people myself included expected robins to kick on this summer and bring in the 4/5 players we needed to really become a decent force at this level. I have no clue what happened re his coaches both leaving and little money spent and what was being on players we didn't need, but the start to this season IMHO increased negativity towards the club from some fans. Very big summer coming up for us - we have some good players who we need to keep......and some key new players need to arrive as early as possible to show fans we really are keen to kick on as a club. Not easy because wages are ridiculous, but the intent has to be there surely?

It has been (fairly) obvious for a while that we were not going down this season. That is why the January transfer window was so quiet for us. No point in spending to gain an extra place or two. Bide your time and see what happens in the summer.

We wont ever see that from Powell though, its not his style. No doubt someone will bring up his 100 point Charlton side but even they weren exciting to watch, just effective. Charlton fans will tell you all you need to know about his approach to the game. Im not saying its the wrong approach but it wont be a style you're hoping for. We will see more Edgar type signings in the summer, of that im sure

We will see more Edgar type signings in the summer, of that im sure Whilst I would probably agree.....how many promoted teams in recent seasons have been "exciting" to watch!? Not Leicester, qpr or burnley last season - all effective, strong both mentally and physically and prepared to mix it to get results. Decent enough to watch but hardly jaw dropping. The year before was Cardiff, hull and palace - again, not exactly thrilling to watch, in particular the automatic sides who ground out 1-0 wins for fun. Powell is clearly a pragmatist - I'm glad he has been to be honest, because robins left a lop sided squad with too much emphasis on a couple of key players, one of whom was always injured. If he hadn't been pragmatic, I would suggest we'd be nearer Wigan than sheff wed in the table! This summer is massive for Powell - a handful of key signings and maybe one or two out and we will be fine IMO ....the key question for me is can Powell get them?

Course he's not happy, just trying to make a point. I don't think you got my original point Andy ... After a defeat people vent their frustrations about a performance, like they used to in the pub after the match .. Surely that's what this site is for ? But what gets on my goat is the fact that people are then camped on here for days explaining to us how the world is going to cave in, that we have no ambition. That the club is crumbling. That Hoyle has lost the plot, that Wilson needs to be sacked etc etc etc etc etc etc..... It's so boring.... Said characters tend to go missing after a win..... We're town. In this league we win one we lose one we draw one..... This isn't league one anymore... If these bores can't get their heads round that they really need to go do something else
