The support yesterday was amazing over 2000 for an away match with nothing riding on it is brilliant I have suggested it before but these fans should get some form of reward for such loyal support. If it's not priority for away tickets then I think the club should at least once a year put on free travel for the fans.
Come on Town free coaches to Birmingham and let's make it a great away day

I wouldn't object to free travel for one game, but I wouldn't expect the club to do it.
Lots of fans do lots of things in support of the club and get nothing back, and expect nothing.
Our away support is good, but the numbers were swelled yesterday by cheap tickets on Charltons part.
It'd be another loss making exercise for the club, we have enough of those already.

Mel did you go yesterday if it was such a good offer? If we had any type of dynamic marketing team they would have it sorted out with the coach company at the start of the season, fans remember little gestures as I think most fans feel short changed by there football club so something like this goes a long way to help fans keep the faith.

I didn't go no. I don't feel short changed by the football club either, the football is disappointing at times but if you're looking for somebody who doesn't feel the club do enough for the fans, you're asking the wrong man.

What we ought to be doing was congratulating Charlton on having a £5 ticket day.
Where Town ought to focus is on free tickets for under 14's - for all home games.

What about the fans that never go but continue to point out the clubs failings on Social Media. They're actually doing the club a favour by highlighting problems FOR NOWT. I think these fans should be rewarded too.

I don't think its too much to ask for free coaches once a season, its not a bad idea to be fair. Its all take take take by football clubs at times, although I don't expect anything back from them, its nice to reward the fans loyalty at times. Old Bazza Rubberneck put on some free coaches upto Sunderland all them years ago and we took loads.

And what about Dean Hoyle, he's a fan, probably goes to most games, should he get stuff for free too?

I just hope the free coaches don't leave fans at Peterborough services like they did yesterday.

Is it just coincidence that the ones who complain about the idea are the ones who generally don't support Town away from home ?

Although we'd all like this and we'd all like that, it shouldn't be expected, pay your money and support the club, have a good day when it comes and if the club rewards us then it's a bonus.

Actually i presume we use the same coach company and put a lot of business their way,why not tell them we as a club want one free away match per season as part of the deal? Club lose nothing, fans get a free travel and coach company gets to keep its business and also free, good, advertising?

Many years ago I tendered for business from town and it was made clear that the directors expected free samples on a regular basis so I agreed and just added the cost to the club bill you don't get aught for nought

Although it'd be a nice gesture and the club should acknowledge the support in some way I don't think a reward is appropriate. We are supporters not customers (and ask to be treated as such), can't be expected to be reimbursed like you would for a meal that was shit. Lower ticket prices across the board however might make people feel better after watching performances like that yesterday.
