That's why Powell was so negative! I think you are polarising the discussion now. Perhaps we need some new players instead of alternating current?

Then they took all the trees, but instead of putting them in a tree museum, they put 'em in the centre of our defence. And they charged all the people £25 just to see 'em.

It's still not Powell's team FFS... Give the guy a chance to have a FULL summer & pre-season still be a lot of movement of players in and out then I never understand this thinking. It was Powell's team FFS. I'm easily one of the more tolerant fans, but I'm with you on this. He's been here long enough to start being judged and he shouldn't need to totally remould the team for it to be considered his. Still think the OP is nonsense and when I start hearing throw away clichés about building from the back........

Sounds like Watt was electric yesterday, especially against a flat defence! Apparently he's current-ly very good in Ohm games...

When the other team attack with power, we simply have no resistance. The current squad are not good enough and need to spark into life. We are too static and need to charge forwards more often and generate a result.

I thought exactly the same about this Town team when we beat Wolves away, Forest, Brentford, Watford and did the league double over Reading and Millwall.

I'm not sure he was being serious, it's full of puns.

Electrically you are correct, but yesterday the problem wasn't so much our static defence - it was the gap in front of them that caused the problem. That's why Chelsea put two holding midfielders in front of Terry and Cahill - its to protect them from folks like Watt running through on them.
