Boro have just put a £12 million bid in for Rhodes.. Really want to see Rhodes in the Premier League and I think he deserves the chance too. I can't see Blackburn accepting £12 million, are we on for some sort of windfall if this is accepted ?

Around £800,000 which should help the FFP situation.. If he sells again in the future do we get another windfall? No - the reason we'd get £££ out of any Rhodes sale by Blackburn is that it would have been a condition of the deal by which we agreed to sell him. Obviously we wouldn't be a party to this or any future sale and therefore there's no way we could expect to benefit from it.

8 million 800k, its a deal that could keep giving...don't take a cheque though Deano....I think Blackburn have already spent the possible profit on Jordan about 10 X over already...

I thought the transfer window was closed? Or are they talking about a loan now then transfer at the end of the season?

Errr, isn't the transfer window shut? Currently only the loan window is open, so are Boro wanting him on loan with a view to a permanent during the summer?

Interesting article about Rhodes in today's Scottish Daily Record: MARK McGHEE last night insisted Jordan Rhodes is ready to reignite his Scotland career after adding more than just goals to his game. Gordon Strachan’s No.2 placed the prolific Blackburn hitman under his microscope in a bid to discover if he has learned the skill-set to operate in the lone-strike role deployed by the international side. And 19 months of exile have ended after a glowing recommendation from McGhee who watched the 25-year-old score four times in his last five games. Rhodes was previously banished due to doubts over his ability to perform key ?functions in Strachan’s system. But he could now be unleashed in the friendly against Northern Ireland tomorrow night as McGhee believes he’s becoming the finished article. He said: “Our way of playing hasn't changed and we’re not about to play in a way which would only accommodate Jordan. “We feel he now looks much more able to play the way we play. “I watched Jordan a couple of weeks ago at Watford and I said to Gordon afterwards that it was the most assured I’d seen him in terms of his hold-up play and lay-offs. “He had really improved in that ?department. I then watched him last week at Charlton and he scored a couple of goals. He got down the side of the centre half for one of the goals, out-muscled him and produced a terrific finish. “He looked so clinical and clean with his finishing in that game and I felt it would be too difficult to ignore him this time around. “If you look back at the season then Jordan hasn’t always played in the Blackburn team. “There were occasions when you looked at that and said we were probably right with what we were seeing. But at the moment he’s firing on all cylinders. “The flaws are slowly but surely being ironed out and he has improved. “We require certain strengths from players in certain positions. Unless they can deliver that, they cannot be in the team. More at: www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/jordan-rhodes-finally-worked-out-5388088Still not picked in the starting line up though...

Hope hudson goes right through him. It's a shame that he's never made the step up to the premiership, bet he's very happy that he's supposedly on 52k a week!
