One or two on here might remember a world before the internet existed .. No vines no tweets no wums no megalols ... Well anyway in them days there were these things called fanzines .. little comic things that fans used to write and flog outside the ground .. ours was called "hanging on the telephone " a pisstake I think of the chairmans excuse that he couldn't sign x or y because other clubs weren't responding to his calls ... Has anyone still got any of these ? Are there copies on the internet ? Any HOTT memories ? My memory tells me a bit rubbish but I was so desperate for town news I'd buy owt back in the day ..Were any on here responsible for its production ?

Found a few the other day when clearing some stuff out.. Needless to say the clearing out was put on hold whilst I had a browse through em.. Surely it must be someone on here who wrote and published them.

I remember it well Chipster..HOTT....I believe the title was due to a call a previous Town manager made (Ian Greaves) ?? to another manager enquiring about a player (Liverpools Bill Shankly)..Not really sure of the characters involved...And the person who took the call asked our then manager to hold....And never came back to the phone !!

Remember reading this in the pubs back in the day and offering to be the dark side correspondent to give the Leeds viewpoint on things and generally to be shot at.
Even got as far as a Town Fan I knew well getting in touch with one of the guys who ran it to court his opinion but they politely declined. Good publication for the time I remember.
By the way, rivalries aside on a betting angle for today, Leeds at around Evens to win at Blackpool today !!! ....with their fans boycotting and very possibly more Leeds Fans there than Blackpool making it effectively a home game for Leeds? Got to be one of the bets of the Season if we can conquer the pitch and score early on.

Got a couple of HOTT's kicking about still somewhere. They were genuinely quite funny.

I have no idea what you golden oldies are on about.... If you've never found a grot mag behind a wall you've never lived Finding grot mags brings back better memories than HOTT! Did used to enjoy reading it tho, some good stuff, I remember it being produced fairly sporadically, certainly not every match.

I have no idea what you golden oldies are on about.... If you've never found a grot mag behind a wall you've never lived I've said it before but i'll say it again, the internet has all but killed off youngsters stumbling upon some woodland porn. Progress - not always for the best.
