Keep him! He couldn't trap a bag of cement for Town. Mid table in League One is where he belongs.

Not good enough for the Championship any more. I think everyone wanted him to succeed but he did not. Good luck to him.

Good to see you're going to have fuck all to show for yet another season. Play off hopes going up in smoke throwing 2-0 leads away with minutes to play against sides like Fleetwood

We've had a good cup run too. League 1 is a good standard and it doesn't matter what you say he's had a quality season end off story . You do miss him to an extent that's for sure.

Nah, I can only echo what was said above. Everyone wanted him to succeed, but for whatever reason, he didn't cut it at Town. Sure, if he was just going to produce the good bits of his game, he'd be fine, but there's not so good bits too. It's been nice seeing him achieve after leaving, it was difficult to tell what sort of level he was at during his stay here. Thoroughly deserved evening in the sun for the lad.

Its a poor league we went 43 games unbeaten. You could put any premier league side in the championship and I'd guarantee they would'nt go on anysort of run like that. Good luck to stead hope he signs for a decent league 1 club in the summer. Seen as Parkinsons contract is nearly up I see some good offers have been put on the table for him maybe he will take stead with him?

He's playing at a lesser level against teams who are not on a par with the Championship teams. Put Stead back into this team and he wouldn't contribute like he's doing at Bradford and we'd be lower down the league than we currently. are. Put Wells into your team and you'd be flying in the league and he'd be well into the 20 goals bracket and you could possibly be going for automatic promotion. Give me Wells over Stead any time

Id have stead in our squad. He seems to get judged on those 3 games he started when he was bang out of form and played poorly ( though he got the winner v Leeds) . Other than that, i don't think he let us down in any of his appearences and particularly early last season, looked very good when hed come on. He showed against Chelsea and sunderland what hes capable of when on form and i can't imagine Miller, or wells for that matter, playing better than he did in those games. Id prefer him over Miller myself, but even if he wasn't, hed be a better option than nobody, which would have been the option we had if wells hadn't made the game on saturday. Apparently he wasn't on big money here and we're paying most of his wage still whilst hes with the chickens, so I can't see how loaning him out has been a good move for us.

Can't imagine how anyone could possibly want him in the squad/team - average at the very best in the games he played for us. Should never have been re-signed.

Is 'average' worse than Wells, Vaughan and Miller then?

What a load of nonsense. How could we possibly 'miss him' when he was nothing short of dire for us? I'm pleased he's finally found his level, but I certainly don't miss him, I'm glad we got rid. Well done with your cup run.
