To be fair that video shows half of what actually happened and from someone who actually saw it the people who got battered weren't doing anything.
It started with a fella and his missed getting chucked out they didn't seem to be doing anything, but they left. Then that group at the front that started waving at away fans and chest pumping etc and chanting. They got escorted out the Blackpool fans did nothing at all to this group at all. To be honest if these lot had a slap then they would have deserved it for gobbing off. The Blackpool fans started getting pissed off and running down the stairs trying to punch them in the back of the head through the stewards
As they were going out the fella that was attacked and his son who looked about 13/14 along with another fella and his young son, decided to leave. They weren't chanting or doing anything wrong, then about 4/5 Blackpool fans jumped on one guy they were stamping on him while he was on the floor. The kid was getting punched and kicked from behind by grown men. The stewards tried to help the guy but only ended up dragging him down the steps. They were then walked around the pitch to the first aid area and the guy was a total mess and the young lads face was a mess.
Just because they sat in the home end does it justify him getting stamped on like that and his son attacked. They hadn't been the one's mouthing off, they hadn't even cheered when Leeds scored, hardly provoked it all they did was go to Leeds. Fair enough if the Blackpool fans attacked the group of lads chanting, could argue they brought it on themselves, but they were cowards they picked on a guy and his young son, who had done nothing but watch the match.
There were two main culprits, a Blackpool fan in a white hat and a fat lad. The police just stood with them Laughing and then escorted them out and let them go. The rest of the Blackpool fans skulked off before the end. I say the truth and if you go in the home end and mouthing off you ask for it, but not if your sitting quietly and not when you have your young son with you.

the 'someone' who saw it, was a leeds fan? clearly the epitome of truth and justice... sitting in the wrong end is wrong, sitting in the wrong end with a kid is clearly stupidity personified.. the bit about cowards you have to be careful with, given leeds uniteds record.. having been spat at through the police lines by bits of kids and middle aged women at elland road, my sympathy does not stretch too far.. a group of about 10 approached us in the car park , gave us some abuse and told us what they were going to do to both of us, then the other 2 cars full appeared and the good hiding was put on 'hold'...careful with the coward bit...although we did get a decent laugh out of a 5-1 defeat.. even with my mouth shut and sitting on my hands I wouldn't sit in the wrong place at the skip...

But you can see the Leeds fans who were attacked chanting along and fist pumping to 'We are Leeds' at the start of the video?

Lost their chief of operations today without reason or explanation so far. Must be embarrassing sometimes. And by sometimes I mean most of the time. Yet they are still above us If they keep going as they are, and so do we, I think things will change.

As the video starts I can clearly see L666s fans (including the Gok Wan lookalike and his dad I guess) in the Blackpool area standing and chanting subsequently a couple got attacked and were removed - That bit is clear at the beginning of the video, if you deem standing and chanting your team's name in the home end at an away matchas doing nothing wrong then so be it. All a bit daft as many have said but trouble seems to follow the same clubs around and yet it's always someone else's fault.

Most clubs have their own small band of half-witted idiots who attend games, not for the football but to cause trouble.
I hope our fans haven't forgotten the League One play-off final against Posh at OT, when a couple of fans (Father & Son) took part in an almighty punch up which ultimately resulted in both of the culprits being jailed.
Unfortunately, both the victims and the perpetrators were all Town fans. So I reckon we should lay off criticising other clubs fans, unless they stoop as low as ours did on that particular day.

In an ideal world all fans would be able to sit together without segregation,,,but everyone knows visiting fans are required to sit in the away stand,it doesn't take much working out that its asking for trouble to sit in with the home fans, even more so for Leeds,as there fans are more slappable than any other clubs
