I think we will finish 20th, I can see it being close between us, Rotherham and Wigan for that final relegation place though!

No we will be ok hard run in for Wigan, should questions be asked about this slump, similar to last season, or is it just down to luck this year?

Personally think questions could/ should be asked! I thought we'd push on this season, dont think we have at all! Cant keep relying on others below us to keep failing to pick up the points, sooner or later we are going to have to start picking up points! wether or not we were unlucky in our last two games is not the point, yes we should have ended up with 6 points, but the reality is we picked up 1, which keeps us at the wrong end of the table!

But Deano says that we've progressed, to think anything other than that is considered heresy by some on here.

Bet365 and Corals are offering 40-1. What are we waiting for? Bet365 have lowered to 33-1, Corals are still at 40-1 though. Got a tenner on it to help soften the blow. If we stay up, I'll be happy anyway and not fussed about losing the tenner. Call me pessimistic, but I've seen Town do this before from this position. Whilst those around us are strengthening their squads and picking up form (Wigan are currently 10th on form), we bring nobody in and are currently sitting 2nd bottom in the form tables over the last 6 matches. Still, I suppose it makes an otherwise dull season a bit more exciting in the run in. Sorry Marcus, but if we contrive to go down from this position it will be a new experience for us all. Every one of our relegation seasons has seen us in or very near in terms of points to the relegation places with seven games left, nothing like nine points clear. Of the six that I've endured, only in 1972-73 and in 2000-01 did I hope or expect to escape it. We've had some great escapes, though, in 1986-87 (winning the last three matches), 1992-93 from being dead and buried, 1997-98, of course, and 2012-13. Let's hope that 2014-15 joins the long list of not very memorable seasons.

That's a relief because it certainly isn't evident from our league position, points tally or even the quality of football. It must be the improved quality of half-time entertainment or programme then?

Town will start next season with an untested defence unless they play the same crap which have a woeful defensive record to match. Surely Powell and Hoyle should have brought in a couple of decent "long term " loan defenders earlier in the season with an option to buy providing a successful working defence could be gelled together. The final championship fixtures would have been a far better way to test any defence than meaningless pre season friendlies . I thought this could have been a massive advantage to the team , especially as and nobody wants a re run of what we witnessed at the start this season under Robins.

to be fair, its a business and you never tell the exact truth, that's from the taxman down...the truth is what you can 'reasonably' expect to be 'believed' and what you can 'reasonably' produce some type of evidence to substantiate your version of it...
its not avoidance, its evasion....
