So we're the 17th most succesful club despite being the 36th biggest. That means we're more than twice as good as we should be. Right?

Why is it more realistic? More realistic compared to what?

So, we SHOULD be 14th in Championship if we are 36th best in FL? We are ACTUALLY 18th, so clearly we are not progressing!! Hoyle out!!!!!

The leeds fans i know would have a breakdown if you told them they were statistically as big as Wolves.

Seen a few of these league position//points/attendances/honours etc The one I recall only included data since the abolition of the wage cap/Jimmy Hill. Once again Town were about 6th bottom of the second tier. Jimmy Hill could be a bit annoying but I don't think they abolished him.

It's only because anyone with sense moves as far away as possible from those places...

Why is it more realistic? More realistic compared to what? E That we are a fairly small club, with limited past success.

I do but it's a slow day.. I do believe that most negative posters (Nick included) are now going out of their way to prove their negative stance regarding the club is correct. Some of them seem to wish the club do badly just so they can polish their ego's and bring out their "told you so" shyte..

A bit of a mash up of stats. Trophies and league position are historical, but fan base and income are current. E.g. Our income in 1970 would have been 10 x that of Wigan. Our global fan base in 1925 would have been greater than most current PL clubs. Interesting to see Bradford in there but no Bradford City.

Unfortunately you're right, a thread about an old town player passing away or one about Wells scoring a penalty for Bermuda are even an opportunity for a few to shoe horn a dig in about the club. Seems a strange sort of support.

Hope your not alluding to my values of life, totally different to football. To be 36 th in the biggest clubs league is not bad for Town imo, I wouldn't of rated us that high.
