how did Matteo Darmian do? Very good. Pacey. Gave the England fullbacks a torrid time until he was subbed after 70 minutes.

Yep, a fuel-line problem. Fortunately the hotel is empty. Salvatore..the amazing Sicilian manager somehow got 25 staff to come back to work at 11pm...imagine that in England! Not one had deigned to come for a pint at the bar...pussies. Wouldn't have been a problem in England - it's about 15 years since anyone English has worked in the hotel industry in this country. Fair point....still think the general manager would have struggled to find 25 staff at 11pm though

Inter or Napoli or someone. Was linked with a move to Manchester United recently. Unfortunately, once players reach a certain level it becomes difficult to keep them. Especially when they're mixing with superstars on international duty, comparing salaries and swapping agents' numbers. I know Everton used to dread having players called up as a transfer request usually followed the week after (even no-marks who supposedly supported the club like Francis Jeffers).

Its true enough - there's no way Immobile should have got the move he did, nor Cerci to be honest (in fact, going back, Ogbonna was worth nothing like the €10m they got for him). Torino, provided they can squeak into Europe, might be rich enough to keep Darmian for another season...but then I just can't see him turning a move down - which, going on Danilo D'Ambrosio's Inter career, might well be a mistake.

"No way immobile should have got the move he did" - something very amusing about a striker called immobile, God knows we've had many an immobile striker ourselves down the years. Always thought Cerci looked decent, but not necessarily worth the trouble (I know he was a proper dick when at Fiorentina).

Not seen much of Ogbonna but he always looks massive (then again, as previously discussed a lot of Juve players seem to gain a lot of muscle)! Can't have gone down well at Torino him moving there.
