...to be a Bradford fan tonight ? Stick your cup run and league 1, much prefer the championship even if we are in a relegation battle. The cup money won't last long in league1. The cup money will enable them to sell Season Tickets at £199 again to inflate their attendance figures.

be nice to see town do this for themselves..do we start next season looking at who might fill the 3 spots below us?? give town their due at least they are promising nothing in the advertising blurb... I guess the 'thrill' with town is that even a 9 point gap with 7 games to go, if truth be told, isn't just enough not to niggle at the back of your mind.

But as there are 7 games left if we mirrow the results of the last 7 you will see: Town - 5 points - Total - 49 points. Rotherham - 6 points - Total - 46 points. Wigan - 10 points - Total - 45 points. Or if you take the last 3 games you will see Rotherham bottom of the form league with 0 points. Looks like 6 games were chosen simply because this was after our last win & the most likely combination to show us in the bottom three. How sad.How negative! Don't be daft - The last 6 games were chosen because this gives a fair impression of the CURRENT FORM of all the teams.

Town 1pt Reading 0pts Fulham 3pts Rotherham 0pts Wigan 1pt Millwall 2pts Blackpool 1pt No danger at all ...... we can play the Stats game all day..... The key stat is the total points actually gained over a season which means we stand 9pts and 4 places above the relegation places with 7 games to go, which means that at least 4 teams below us have to do better than us to get above us in their remaining games.

If current form is anything to go by, I reckon Town will only pick up 4 points from their remaining fixtures against Wednesday (A), Ipswich (H), Forest (A), Brighton (H), Derby (H), Blackburn (H) & Blackpool (A). On the other hand, Wigan will collect at least 13 points from their remaining games, making it all square on points. I'm not sure what the rules say when teams are tied on points, but if it's decided on goal difference then Town WILL BE relegated and Wigan will survive - Trust me. Can you please let me know what your backing in the grand national so i have one less horse to think about.

One negative - I have watched the last 20 odd world cups, and I know what comes next after "level on points" to the factor of about 8. Trust me, if tied on points in the Championship it first comes down to goal difference, if level on that highest goals scored, what next I´m not sure Mirf !

Are you lot still not convinced? - Well lets look at it another way: Wigan have picked up 10 points from their last 6 games (1.666/game average) whilst Town have only collected 2 points (0.333 average). So with 7 games remaining and providing both teams form remains the same, then Wigan will collect a further 11.67 points (rounded up to 12) and Town 2.33 points (rounded up to 3). And there my friends, are the 9 points Wigan need to gain on Town, to send us crashing back down to League One with an inferior goal difference. As far I'm concerned this weekend's results at Hillborough and The Riverside are crucial, because if we come away with sweet FA and Wigan win, then it's all over bar the shouting and it's good night Vienna. You have still to convince me.

Ah but, the thing is we didn't come away with nowt at Hillsborough and Wigan didn't win did they? - so it's not goodnight Vienna and after yesterday's results, it's not likely to be either.
If truth be known, I've always had faith in Chris although he's obviously found it hard to operate effectively, under the latest "belt tightening" conditions set by our leader Deano.

One final point to the ones thinking we can't go down - We've only scored 4 goals in our last 6 games whilst conceding 14, whilst Wigan have only conceded 6. So, we have the third worst defence in the entire league, having conceded 67 goals and a lack lustre bunch of forwards, who have only found the net 4 times in the last 540 minutes of play. Stats don't lie and prove conclusively that we are in deep shit, unless we get the win we so desperately need at Hillsborough. Mind you I'm not panicking yet, but I frigging will be if we balls it up against Wednesday and Wigan sink Boro. 540 you are an utter plank smirf! Shut the door on the way out fella!
