Actually being very disingenuous...working in London today so taking the chance to go, got a very good mate who is a BHA fan so meeting him then watching the mighty Terriers spoil his evening....I hope... I'm a decent fan but not a super fan, like some of the heroes on here...all credit to those making a trip down today

I'll be with at least three other old farts, two of whom will probably be wearing Town flat caps (not me). Shouldn't be difficult to spot, as there won't be more than 300 or so Town fans. Impressive ground is the Amex, if you've not been before, be be aware of the transport arrangements to the ground - your ticket should include travel. We'll be parking at Lewes station then one stop to the ground at Falmer.

Heading off to Lewes in about an hour. Weather is wonderful. Hoping for 2-1 to Town.

Well...a game we could, probably should have won but for Nahki, who had a good game, missing one glaring chance and another he should have buried.
Defensively we were solid, good formation and everyone pretty much did their jobs, Oscar a bit ropey but got better.
My one moan would be with more bravery and belief these are games we should be taking.
I'll let Epsom do a proper job UTT.

Don't quite understand why Lolley was good enough to start a couple of games not long back and now he's back to not getting even 4 minutes from the bench in a meaningless game. Strange carry on

Three shots on target compared to their none, and we hit the post. Think the away team proved to be more adventurous than the home team, but don't let the facts get in the way of a good gripe, eh?

Maybe Powell felt that the 11 on the field were better than any on the bench and were in a better position to at least get a point. Had Nahki scored as it appears he should have done then it was the right decision.

Had Nahki scored as it appears he should have done then it was the right decision. Maybe so but 10 of those players played a full game at the weekend. Perhaps fresh legs would have got us a winner against a poor Brighton team, or maybe we'd have gone on to concede. But what was the harm in trying in a meaningless game?

Totally agree should have won had best 2 chances.......Nakhi Pretty even game tho they probably had more possession tho did very little with it Best players for me were Lynch who strolled around in 2nd gear (he is a class act when he wants to be) and Coady Other than that a pretty four game If CP had gone for it we could have won but wel'll never know Lovely ground and cushioned seats Train back to Btighton centre very efficient All in all a very pleasant experience

Seen the chance where nahki struck the post on sky sports news. He should have buried that. Very poor effort.
Still not a bad point

Well, here it is, my "just back" report. Serious delays on the M25 (what's new?) between J10 & J8 meant I cut through stockbroker Surrey after picking up a couple of mates at Walton-on-Thames around 445pm. We were on the verge of giving up when we finally hit the M23 at 640pm. 25 minutes later I was parking up at the park-n-ride as you enter Brighton. Incredible that we got to the ground 20 minutes before kick off in the circumstances.
That was the end of the fun. I wish we had turned round and gone home. God that was a dull game, first half in particular. I know Brighton hit the bar, Wells should have done better from 15 yards out and Miller broke through and poked an effort well wide, but absolutely nothing else happened, honest! The ground was eerily silent in the warm air, both teams were playing at half speed, Brighton dominating possession, passing it around amongst themselves, but with no cutting edge, really no threat whatsoever. Town had maybe 30% possession, rarely strung more than two passes together, just couldn't be bothered yet contrived to have two decent chances. Second half was marginally quicker, marginally better, but it was still mundane, tedious, end-of-season, going through the motions pap. Brighton hit the post from what looked to be a mishit cross that Smithies seemed to lose sight of, then the biggest moment in the game when Wells contrived to hit the post from four yards out with a wide open goal gaping in front of him on about 85 minutes. An unbelievable miss that would have given Town a win that they probably deserved despite being soporific and half-hearted. That just goes to show how poor Brighton were - they dominated possession, played it around amongst themselves, but utterly toothless. Town's standout player for me probably was Lynch; he made a few timely interceptions and challenges, though he almost let them in with a careless pass after a great tackle. A game that will quickly be forgotten.

Surely games like this emphasise one of the benefit of the play-offs (actually this isn't a great example;)).
Without them, there'd be far more scope for games like this.

There's always talk of wanting the same things throughout all of football, so where's the play-off for the last champions league spot? Always baffled me how the guys in charge say the play-offs are great yet we don't have them in our biggest league.

We've conceded just 4 goals in 5 games including 2 clean sheets since Gerrard left - coincidence?
