Disappointed with the man. He never gave Town any credit for an entertaining match. When interviewed his comments were solely on his players and their season, shame.

he is going into the play offs and he does not really back his own team to win them. neither do I....it will be seen as a failure...pressure to succeed...

The worst English manager ever ... Even worse than Sven Worse than Turnip? Let`s not forget that Turnip failed by finishing second in a group behind Holland. There were no play offs in those days. What kind of a system would not allow both England and Holland to be able to both qualify for the World cup. He also had key injuries to Shearer, Pearce and Gascoigne to contend with. Mclaren failed to qualify by not finishing above Croatia.

Why does he have to give credit to town or talk about us? Derby fans wanna hear about Derby players. Not ours!

Dean did say that if Derby don't go up then they may like some other teams find themselves in trouble with big financial losses and FFP. It does make me wonder how a good many managers would cope without open ended cheque books.

It does make me wonder how a good many managers would cope without open ended cheque books. We have had those types of managers where the cheque book is their answer to success. Obviously it helps purchase so called better quality players but it does not turn those players into a TEAM.

Turnip picked Carlton Palmer, and more than just once. That alone makes him the single worst England manager ever.

Worst manager I've seen managing England that I can remember. At the time, I followed England everywhere. I went to watch us play Andorra away in Spain. The stadium didn't hold many but I reckon we took 10-15k more than what was officially reported, the Spanish rozzers were letting England fans in without tickets and just packing what was a terrible stadium. It was absolutely packed and the atmosphere was amazing but we came in 0-0 at half time I think. Mclarren got bombarded with bottles of piss and pork pies as he walked off. The football was a disgrace and we were clueless. We won 3-0 and England fans were not impressed, they got absolute pelters. Shocking manager at that level.

Andorra away?? tricky tie...no pushovers left in Internationals, difficult pitch, small stadium etc etc...
be honest, its midweek half my squad are feigning injury, the other half are just about deigning to turn up, a third want to be on the bench because its a warm/cold night and the last 3rd haven't a fucking clue where Andorra is...
put a manager without much of a clue and a squad of half arsed individuals who want the extra money for having put the shirt on but really don't want to be travelling to Andorra and are hoping to get away with a practice match pace and that's what you get..

He did after the game at pride park and he did yesterday. He was very praising of us in the build up too. I always stick up for mclaren. Decent bloke who has a decent record in coaching and management. Can't believe the shite he gets! Classic England trait just to slaughter folk!

I was also at that game, seem to remember David Nugent, yes David Nugent , pinching the 3rd goal as it was already going in the net! Awful game and David Nugent playing sums up his time in charge!
