Few of my mates from the skip ground down the road have mutterings that as soon as the season finishes they will be filing administration? Might be that it is inevitable this is going to happen with the week in week out saga but i haven't heard this of late has anyone else? Would be nice to win tomorrow and for them to lose so that for once we finish above them on merit in a very long time. Them been the big fish in Yorkshire and former champions of Europe that is lol. UTT

Why would they wait for that and effect next season? They'd have been better taking the penalty this season

Under normal circumstances it's 10 points for administration in the Football League - which would leave them 2 points clear of relegation and 1 ahead of Rotherham. Given their current form (5 defeats on the bounce if I recall?) I suppose it makes some sense. On a separate note, imagine if they went into admin and both them and Rotherham needed something to stay up on the final day (given their current form it wouldn't be unheard of)...the police would want the game on at half 6 in the morning behind closed doors

If you go into admin NOW, and at the end of the season a 10 point would have taken you down, then the 10 points is applied and you get relegated. If the 10 point deduction wouldn't have relegated you, then it applies to the NEXT season instead. (as an aside, Leeds were docked 10 points for starting a season whilst in admin, and a further 5 points for exiting administration 'improperly' (ie, not via a CVA), to go with the 10 points deduction they received for going into admin in the first place that relegated them... all perfectly straightforward and written out clearly in the rules)

Cheers. Either way it doesn't make for great reading for Leeds if they went into admin now.

Shocking loophole otherwise.

12.3.3 and 12.3.4
I'd change the rule so that a team going into admin after the end of the normal playing season but before the start of the next, where a 10 point deduction would have relegated them, also gets relegated.
But that could really screw up a team that has been relegated, gets a late reprieve because of another club going into admin, but they've already binned off players they might have otherwise kept hold of had they not been relegated, or brought in players 'for the league below'.

Is there any combination that would see them get relegated twice? LOL
I actually feel sorry for the decent fans they have. A club that has underachieved for decades.

Anyone who uses the word 'FACT' in a post, especially at the end as a sentence in itself, or worse in a thread title is a fool and can be safely disregarded. What's next? Only joshing

Good point well presented but can there be an exemption if using iPhone cos I don't get them but for completeness here it is belatedly
