'seeing how it pans out'? not sure what the point of pre season and transfer windows is then? I thought it was the time to get as best prepared for the up coming season as you can? The 'see how it goes' approach might be interesting unless you are paying to watch it 'unfold'? See how it pans out merely refers to armchair pundits not bouncing about like they are on hot coals... The management get paid to manage.. to recruit etc.... Do you think that the fans shouldn't see how new signings pan out ? Especially when they've never seen them play a game ? .If not what action do you think these armchair fergies should take ?

ted.. you know my views on town and how we play, far too often. the 'quality' centre backs were never going to be an option available to powell this year.. a 'prospect' was the only realistic signing..
I dont have any views as yet on the 3 younger lads brought in, havent seen them play for us for a decent length of time as yet..
Another season from the club of play it safe, see how it goes and stick to the plan on and off the pitch might be one too far.. imo...of course..
I await to be pleasantly suprised..

Sorry if this is already out there on this thread as I've not read it in its entirety but both Hudson and Lynch had an absolute awful game Saturday against Rochdale. Our defence leaves much to be desired in my opinion and needs to improve dramatically. Hudson is a great leader but very inconsistent in my opinion in his actually footballing ability. But then so is the rest of the squad so he probably fits in well

Pedestrian tonight before he went off, gave it away a couple of times when it was easier to make a pass. I have persevered with him but he is a liability, just reacts too slowly. Sure he can head it but that a small part of a centre-halves game these days
