I think Powell is happy now. What with Wallace coming in to replace an injured lynch or under performing Hudson and add to that cranie. UTT That defence will concede loads of goals again this season, its simply not good enough. Wallace may have improved but i doubt its enough to make a huge difference The oracle speaks - only joking but probably best measured when the season has started

Just seen Oscar Gobern is on trial with QPR. Been offline for quite a while, so sorry if this has been posted before elsewhere somewhere!

I believe we have signed him and he has played some games for us. Having seen us play a couple of times and his name was definitely read out as playing, i am still unable to confirm this rumour..
Whitehead has definitely kicked one or two of the opposition, so I can confirm there is no change there..
Davison has a top knot which is suspect in itself.

Oh, that thing is called a top knot? Cue trying to restrain my imagination from the thought of a bottom knot...

Quite happy with our business this summer. Good tweaking without too much instability. Still think Hammill could go and an extra defender come in, preferably able to cover at LB.
Much trimmer squad with less deadwood than last August. That should enable a loan or two throughout the season if need be.
Roll on Hull!!

Middlesbrough forward Lee Tomlin is training on his own after trying to force a move to the Premier League, with Bournemouth and Norwich City interested in the 26-year-old. LINK what goes around comes around

Fulham linked with signing Dwight Gayle on loan. Great signing for them if he goes, always looks a goal threat.

Yea im sure he would be awesome at mowing the pitch. Prop forward now coaching? Really? So you wouldn't want a player who was instrumental in getting a team in our division in to the playoffs ....bizarre

I see Hull are after McNair from Man Utd, pushing Harry McGuire further down the pecking order - surely he needs another loan, would be great for us!

Yeah I was just going to say the same, having read the Examiner article.
I know he was part of the Wigan side that got relegated last season, but surely McGuire would be an improvement on Hudson/Wallace.

My mate who's a Wigan fan says he stood out in their team every week, even though they were relegated he looked class.

Reckon Mcguire would be a good move for both parties, he needs to get his career back on track & we need to strengthen at the back before the window closes.
