It's all come from hitc so let's hang fire for the time being eh. May be true but hitc have already reported last week we had agreed a fee so wait for a more credible source.

He can also do a job behind the striker. Would be a cracking signing imo he ran the show when Forest beat us at our place last season. (or was it the season before???) Paterson? Is this a piss take? We've got more wingers then we already know what to do with! but like I just said he's played behind the strikers many times and done a good job there

@reluctantnicko: Huddersfield have stepped into the Jamie Paterson race. Ahead of Charlton. Forest will let him go. Butters will deffo go now then, good luck to him. Not bad profit is it 3 million in a year. yeah, who needs an academy when we can make money like that in the market ? I reckon Dean will be closing the Academy down and building a new stadium on the site..nice little 18,000 stadium...100% HTAFC....part of his long term economic plan ?

Paterson? Is this a piss take? We've got more wingers then we already know what to do with! but like I just said he's played behind the strikers many times and done a good job there Arn't Lolley, Dempsey and Bunn all supposed to be able to do that as well? Yet two of those can't get a game! If Patterson's coming fine, but I really hope the positions that we're desperate for get sorted, i.e. 2 strikers and a centre half.

Maybe the cunning plan is for Dempsey to take over Butterfields role, Bunn will be converted to an out an out striker and Lolley will be farmed off to Posh? /sarcasm

Lolley going would be more disappointing than selling Butterfield for a 3m+ profit.
If/when Vaughan goes a centre forward has to come in. Someone who can do what Chris Wood is doing for Leeds.

We could sell all 16 or so players that are left in the squad and I still don't think I'd be annoyed with that as I was at how we seemed to force out Smithies, so whatever happens over the next day or two I'm fine with it.

Lolley surely has to be a loan? The guy has so much talent.

If we are in for Paterson, does it mean that Scannell will be on his way? We have just signed Carayol for one wing.

Lolley surely has to be a loan? The guy has so much talent. The way he runs with the ball and jinks inside players is Messi-like. He's the one that could be going for £5m in a couple of seasons.

With the clubs apparent policy of buying low and selling high, Lolley to Posh for less than what we paid for him just does not make sense.
If anything it will be a loan.

Town won't sell Lolley, end of - he'll go on loan maybe. But Town have banked almost £8m with Coady, Smithies and Butters...I hope we spend a wad on a striker at least.. Did Boro' have a sell on clause though ??

Would love Town to go crazy and go after Bradley Wright-Phillips - he's been tearing up the MLS.
Powell knows him from Charlton too.
Hes on 7.5K a week in NYC.

Is it me, or is our usual "reliable" sources of information being a tadge quiet on these alleged deals?
Or is it just wishful thinking on my part?
