I've just read on twitter that Millwall manager Neil Harris has released 18 first-team players as the club prepares for life in League One following relegation. First of all, I didn't know a team had 18 first team players. Secondly, the list includes players like Danny Shittu, Ricardo Fuller, Nicky Bailey, Matthew Briggs and Martyn Woolford. Any of those worth getting on a free? I'd rather have JET than any of those, personally, but it's open for discussion.

Always liked the look of Maghoma on TV for Burton, now released by the owls, perhaps needs a love in with CP

Gueye had a great game against us for Everton when they beat us 5-0. I don't know what he's been like since then

Surely there is one or two in there worth having a little look at. CP does seem to be able to get more out of footballers than you would expect. Only thing I would want is to make sure they are a good 6 ft plus with good strength. We have struggled against teams like Ipswich cos they work hard, battle and are good at set pieces. We need one or two players who can help us compete in that department.

Chaplow - experienced at this level maybe worth a look at Gueye - could be a good 'squad' player and someone on our bench CP may actually consider beginning on to impact a game, could be something different

Leeds fan at work made us laugh earlier. Redfearn has apparently put some names forward that he wants to sign if he is to stay on. These include Matt Philips and Charlie Adam.

I wouldn't be surprised if we signed a loan player from Southampton with the Ross Wilson connection and it might be worth keeping an eye on who Bournemouth and Watford decide they don't think will make it in the premiership. Would be chuffed if we could get Sam Gallagher in on loan

Having seen Millwall a couple of other times this season besides the game v Town there isn't one Millwall player I'd want to see at Town. If anything, the likes of Nicky Bailey will be back where he started....at my local non-league club Sutton United.
Two names I've mentioned before that I know for a fact Town have been monitoring closely........Ryan Woods at Shrewsbury and Tom Nichols at Exeter City.

Fulham and Wolves will fight it out for Portsmouth midfielder Jed Wallace. (Mirror) Cardiff striker Adam Le Fondre’s dream move to Bolton could be scuppered with the club admitting they can't afford him. (Wales Online) Worth looking at either? Know we were supposed to be in for Le Fondre last season, but can't see it happening now...

Ramone, I agree that Targett would not be a reaonable target (sorry), but Gallagher would be a better call, as he needs to recover from a "lost" season. This assumrs we need an additional striker - he's a fairly mobile tall type. The other possible target would be Jack Stephens, who's been on loan at Swindon and is a CB. I've said this before, so apologies for being boring. He should be stepping up a level, but he might do that with Swindon, of course. I'll seek advice from real Saints fans as to other likely options, as I agree the Wilson link will be useful.

How about Pearce from reading or gabbidon from Cardiff? Is kilgallen now shite? Used to be alright.
Jake Forster-caskey at Brighton is out of contract. England u21 player if I'm not mistaken.

I've heard a rumor we've been scouting max power at tranmere, I couldn't see him getting anywhere near first team though if we signed him.

We've been after Tom Nicholls for a while at Exeter.
I'd have a Hourihane here too.
Looking at released list, I'd have Austin from Leeds af Ward from Derby.
We need to spend big on a quality CB

We had a credit control guy called Max Power at work - always wondered what his parents were thinking naming him like that...

We need a new centre half and Blackburn have just released Sam Jones, who according to my colleague a Blackburn fan, was one of the under 21 best players. Previously with Man City he must be worth a trial. But why?

Mike van Duinen Why don't you just change your name back to Superwhatever and put us all out of our misery. Its going to be a long summer and you're fooling nobody.
