In other transfer news, Jack Hunt: season-long loan to Wendies in the offing. He does like it here in Yorkshire!

So, the only question that matters right now is who is our next "up and coming" player!? If people claim to be in the know Im all ears as it will ease the pain of losing Coady.

Another Championship club benefiting from Hoyle's alleged stubbornness in not being prepared to bury the hatchet over a young lad's attitude failings, when lured by the lights of the Premier League.

This is not the loss we would feel with some of our other players such as Butterfield. We bought potential for #375k and sold the same potential for #2m. Good luck Conor.

Think he has every bit as much potential as Coady, maybe more. If he can kick on from last season, stay fit, I wouldn't be surprised if hes the one we're getting big bids for this time next year. But it could just as well be some youngster we haven't even got yet- like right now 12 months ago when we'd never heard of Conor Coady.

So who will be next to go I think Butterfield will go if a big offer comes in!

So who will be next to go Surely the only meaningful question to ask is - who is next to come? I don't like Coady going - but a huge upside is that aspiring young players will look at Town and think ....!

Hunt has had more clubs than Tiger Woods since he left our place!

Made his bed. Dont blame hoyle. The thing is though that his alleged bad attitude didn't show on the field and if its true that he wanted to come back then we should have or still should go for him. He's a miles better option than Smith.

In what is already a leaky defence having jack hunt back would back would be an absolute nightmare for us.

Captain, it's hard not to be annoyed when we look at clubs like Brentford signing decent players and hanging onto their best ones when we are selling our players of the future to championship rivals. There is a difference between a fan asking for our chairman to throw money at everything and a fan merely asking to keep hold of our better players. It's starting to get rather disheartening now. So far we have replaced an outgoing left back with a left back and an outgoing midfielder with a midfielder. The impending transfer of Coady further weakens us and that is not even taking into account the 12 or so players released in January or this summer. From the outside as a squad we are certainly weakening. I look forward to seeing whitehead in action but he's 33 and probably past his best, not like Coady with his best years ahead. The only shining light as far as I can see is it may possibly open up a spot for Billing or another academy player, however given our recent record in blooding younger players I wait with caution. They've just spent over £2m on a defender

Yep. And conversely, you tell Deano you want to go (Rhodes, Hunt, Clayton) and he'll have you out in a flash... once he's got his price agreed.

So we have lost one player, who are the one's we are looking at and what positions do they play?
Some people profess to know what is going on inside of the club can they make an educated guess?

Put the dampers on today, selling one of our best players. Hope the club bring in a few top players now.
