I think the NSL have been superb this year, I have enjoyed every minute of it. I just feel that it had too many kids in it but that was going to happen anyway. I am going to enjoy myself in South Stand next year and hopefully fans come together and not complain about flags and drum and just try get behind the team. Wether they can see the match or not

I'm sure he didn't mean it like that, he meant it as in not complaining about the flags and drum. He didn't say you weren't getting behind the team by not "pretending" to be Italian ultras.

NSL have been good this season.
The banners look great, in past seasons I have always liked how some away teams hang their flags/banners on the back wall of the south stand. Maybe put some at the back like this to put your mark on the stand?

What about a name a little more inspiring than the 'South Stand'
Name it after a Town great or even something more historical.
Or even something intimidating

I always liked it when it was called The Pink Link. You could throw insults with gay abandon.

Or even something intimidating I always think that given we are the terriers our stand should be called the dog house or the kennel? I know we have the historical links to the cow shed but given that was based on the look of the old ground's stand then perhaps a new name for the South stand is worth considering?

Anyone thought of the possibily of having the whole south stand if we get a big cup tie, and put the away fans in the Kilner south? I'm presuming the whole ground will be sold out if we drew man united/ chelsea

Similar to Cole, a more continental style of support. Definitely think we need a name change eg Cowshed Loyal

I think NSL has brought the whole club closer together. We are all in it together trying to improve our club in any way we can. I think lots of fans don't know the words to songs and maybe flyers would be a good idea in the friendly matches to help some fans. I enjoyed watching Derby fans bouncing up and down when they was at our place recently after they scored. Maybe the south stand could initiate a bounce of some sort? I enjoy the megaphone and the drummers etc, more noise is better than no noise IMO. I do wish we could have the old traditional smile a while tune to walk on to. It may be old but nobody complains about the old tune at Newcastle or Liverpool. I also wish the club would play tunes after we score like love will tear you apart again when Vaughan scores Etc.
Maybe we could all learn the haka in the summer and perform it before the game? Ha

Like when Leicester put six past us and still the only time there fans made any noise was when they sang along to some jaunty Fratellis song, or I think Millwall have one too.

I sit in the Riverside lower towards the FM end. I will look forward to pretending I can't hear you, just to prove some sort of point... even though I'm not sure what that is.

Great news for the club. Living in Preston I couldn't get to many games, however with me back at home on a break from uni to do my work placement I will be purcashing my first ever season card. Did not like the atmosphere in the Kilner and a Kop sounds great. I would enjoy and ultra style of songs as well as originals.
Something along Ajax's entrada as seen below. UTT.

The SS Cowshed has sold approx 350 SC's so far which is 100 more than we had in the NS in its first season with 3 months sales still to go. The average attendance in the NS last season was 600+ with around 350 making up the numbers by SC transfer and pay on the gate.....Let's say we pick up 100 more SS Cowshed SC sales and hang on to the frequent flyers then we should be averaging 800+ from a total initial allocation of 1200

Where are all the banners going, which end ? I'd imagine the front 2 rows will be netted off as they seem to be most weeks so the long banners that were on the wall behind the NSL could be placed on the netting at each home game

I'm presuming the whole ground will be sold out if we drew man united/ chelsea Might be just about possible in theory but probably not in practice. There must be some segregation planned for away fans in the Kilner South, and as no one in the Kilner North would be displaced this must be located in Kilner South. We'd need to give away fans approx 3,600 in the FA Cup to reach 15% of capacity, which is roughly half the capacity of the Kilner (7,333). To give them enough tickets segregation would have to be in the Kilner North, which would mean displacing fans without prior warning. If I got moved for our biggest game at the ground in years without prior warning, I would probably be a little bit miffed.

Not sure how you can be displaced for a cup game. We had one game last season where the Kilner wasn't even open.

This would need Tog's help. I like it when the goal announcer says: And the Town goal scorer is James (crowd shout Vaughan) ... Repeat. This!!!

Calling The South Stand 'The Kennel' - Class. Love it. "I'll see you in 'The Kennels' mate." Alternatively, Does 'The Dog Pound' work?! #Barks 'Woof Woof'. I'm not sure if I'm being sarcastic or not,

Some of us have a 'floor walk' in the South Stand coming up so we'll be looking to see what's feasible for us.
