In Daz's absence can I please call for some much needed peace and love on this forum? Football is just a game after all. Let's have a pleasant, aggression free close season. The town family, embrace it. STFU Was that you trying to spell my name?

I heard there are one or two other cyclists with the same condition? Not good at all. Best wishes to Daz and any of the others who may have the same condition.

Hopefully every one of them has now been to the doctors and been checked over. The incubation period is long and Daz may have been struck early. He felt rough for a few days then suddenly he needed an ambulance.

I think I've got off lightly.......a bit of a cough /cold but nothing more. Went to see the big lad last night - a bit shocked to be honest.......face mask for oxygen and clearly lost a lot of weight. Fortunately he's in brilliant hands and his humour is still there and he will recover I'm sure.......puts life into perspective though. Get well soon daz.

Saw Daz last night and thankfully he looks to be improving. He's hoping to be released next week to continue his recuperation at home. He's still weak and poorly but its clear the medication is working.

Daz is back in Pinderfields the home antibiotics weren't sufficient just yet so he's been readmitted. Hopefully they can get on top of it all.
