Lows were Brighton home, Leeds home, Rotherham home and away, Reading in the cup. We were so negative in those games so it's no real surprise we only picked up a couple of points.
Highs Ipswich, Reading, Watford, Forest and Brentford at home. Some really good play with a purpose. Unfortunately I couldn't get to many away games this year.
Frustrating season really due to the drastic differences between our good and bad performances, mainly during that run where we seemed to alternate between good and bad weekly.

Rotherham away was the angriest I'd felt leaving a game this season. Rubbish opposition and 2-0 up, yet in classic Town form we decided to try sit back. We always know what happens when we do that. Same for Leeds at home - ideal opportunity to take the game to them, yet we sat back and tried to cling on to a point. I absolutely hate accepting 1 point against mediocre opposition, and too many of our recent managers have fallen into that trap. Thankfully Powell seems to have 'grown out of it'. Highs - last few games of the season. Powell started to take games to the opposition, something we'd been crying out for since about November. Genuinely enjoyable, positive football being played. Until then I'd really not enjoyed this season, or the management. Actually agree with just about every point you've made there, mate!! Esp regarding 'attacking football' : we look so much better as a team when we go at the opposition, compared with how we perform when we fall back into defensive mode. And it's far more entertaining!! Probably the worst game in almost 50 yrs of watching Town, for me, was the 0-1 FA cup debacle against Reading. That was MY angry moment - absolute dirge of a game (Reading were shite too). For a team with our illustrious history - 5 FA Cup Final appearances! - we really ought to be capable of a decent cup run together...........

Bournemouth the worst for me, 1st game of the season, everybody optimistic and we played like a bunch of strangers who had spent the pre season in the pub, left after 75 mins, we could have been 8 down. Agree about Reading in the cup, shocking game. Best result watford, to say they got automatic promotion and another high is the amount of quality goals we scored.Cant wait for next season.

The biggest low point for me was the opening day of the season. All that anticipation from the summer ruined in 24 seconds. Then within an hour post match the realisation set in that the pre season had been ruined/pointless and we as a club was in for another dog fight to stay out of the relegation zone and the fight to remain in the Championship was on.
The high point I think was getting Powell in as manager (although I didn't think that at the time). I really do think he has done amazingly well to steer us away from danger this season whilst reducing the wage bill, playing staff etc and the players brought in have aided our team. I don't think anyone wouldve signed 'big Ish'. Holt and James were vital at their respective times also. Even Edgar had a purpose. Powell quickly realised we needed big physical players to compete against certain teams. That has to be a massive plus. The way he managed the squad also, talking about it being a closer group etc really started to get the best out of the players last 6 to 8 weeks. I do feel glad he got shut of players we all recognised weren't good enough.
Course at times there was some truly shite games. Games where he wanted to shut out the opposition and try nick a goal, even at home. I don't see many Chelsea fans moaning about the way Jose does it, and he is always after grinding out results. It is an aspect of our play we as a team need to improve on massively. And of course we are no Chelsea. But the Yorkshire derbies were tosh alongside the FA Cup match, Birmingham etc. But they were outweighed IMO by more positive games over the course of the season.
Amazing performances against teams like Forrest, Watford, Fulham, Brentford, Derby, Ipswich, Wolves, reading etc. I do feel positive about this season although last season I felt positive too.

The low for me was the pre-season friendly at Oldham, when it was obvious that Robins had done nothing over the summer to instill any kind of motivation into the players. The high came 8 days later when he threw the towel in.

There have been any number of highs for me.
Excellent wins against 3 of the top 6 & came within seconds of beating another. A creditable draw away at the Champions. Plus Reading (H & A), Wolves (A), Forest (H & A), Bolton (H), Wigan & Millwall (A), both vital 6 pointers.
Lows undoubtedly Leeds (H & A), Rotherham (H & A), Birmingham (H). Maybe one or two more, but most teams have poor performances at some stage.
Overall more highs than lows & a reasonably decent season for me, continuing the recent trend of gradual improvement, season by season.

I only saw one win, and (I think) thirteen defeats, which probably explains my less than optimistic view point! Of those defeats, Brentford was poor. And obviously, Leeds. Hopefully next season I'll get to more positive performances than this.

Low points. Settling for draws at home against poor teams when the win was there for the taking. Reading in the cup, still dont know what we were trying to do there.
Highs. Pretty much the last couple of months. Very much enjoyed the last 5 games i've been to. In my 30 years watching Town i'm not sure i've been able to say that before!

Lows: Any game where we played like we weren't trying to win/like we didn't get a monkeys Highs: In terms of games I went to, Watford and Brentford, 2 good performances and results against very good sides.

the high now is that we do have a good number of supporters who 'like to get on the pitch'..this is clearly now an advantage and tactic we can incorporate into difficult away games or just whenever its going against us..
I forsee a much better record of 'very ugly away points' being 'won'...

Lows - The bad start endured and the rebuild midseason which never helps and also the games what could have also been too, probably the best example is Reading in FACup and look how far they got.The main low was the amount of goals conceeded, for us to improve we need to sort this either by gringing in recruits and getting the style right next year and a settled consistent team. Not enough game time to youngsters like Lolley and other youngsters.
Highs-Although a lot may not agree but i think CP has done a great job considering the resources he has had and the time he came in and where we finished.Yeah we had a few hic-ups on the way an all that but look how Dervy finished they was flying at one point then xmas kicked in and couldnt hardly buy a win.The first team performances majority have been excellent and even the so called fringe players who have come in have nailed down end of season places. Some memorable attractive games where looked dangerous and tore teams apart at time and i mean good teams and with few additions could shock some pundits next year.
All in all future looks well and CP is the man to take us forward and with the pre-season and backing and players in and squad im sure we could be in for some shooks next season as i think CP knows his team now and knows what he needs

Lows - Leeds away. Was astonished how bad we were. Peltier smiling after the game with Leeds players - our club captain after we'd been humiliated and paid £36 for the privilege. Could have gone on the pitch and smacked him.
6800 v reading. Reminders of the bad old days under Kenneth
The passing of Irish.
Reading at home in the cup. If you can't be arsed lads. Send us a text next time please!
Norwich away - how we folded. Taken apart and piss all bottle shown in the second half
Highs - reading away. Loved that one. Low numbers, the arrival of Harry bunn. Midweek. And a win against all odds with lillis leading the celebrations
Watford at home. Superb that day. We looked a top team. Lynch worldy and all in front of the BBC FLS cameras
The banner for the Bradford fire made and on the pitch v Blackburn and all the money raised. That Bradford fans post on here. Emotional and uplifting
The turnout for Irish at Blackburn. Amazing.
The Ishmael Miller goal v reading at home started with his backheel! Move over barca - well for 1 night only!
Norwich at home. Incredible game. Think they expected 3 easy points and should have left with 0. Thinking we'd won it with JV then at 945 pm disaster!!
Grant Holt - massive part of the revival. Loved his old skool centre forward play.
And finally All the Away days - shared with the best fans in the land. Proud to be Huddersfield town!

Grant Holt rifling the third (?) against forest. I was right behind that one. Great match and not only was it a cracking strike but I knew we'd won the game at that point, so I went bat shit crazy.
That was a real magic moment, especially as Forest have given us some absolute thumpings.
