Knowing how pathetic the football league can be on decisions. I'm expecting nothing. I think they'll say, outcome wouldn't affect anything & we will be left on 45 games played. But Blackpool to be fined & points deducted next season. Unfortunately I think this is what will happen too. Easy way out for the Football League.

Got to be 3 points to town, could open up a big can of worms if they give each club a point. What if next season a side only needs a point to survive relegation so the fans run on get the game abandoned knowing the last time it happened the points were shared..job done! Three points to town, points taken off Blackpool next season and big fine.

No way should Blackpool get the same points as us from that game. Bet we get only one, though. I think a point each would be fair. It's not Blackpool FC or this players fault that a minority of disgruntled fans forced the game to be abandoned & that the plod did sod all to shift them. Its Blackpool's responsibility to control their fans. Like when the Russia keeper got hit on the head by a flare from the Montenegro fan, it wasn't the Montenegro players fault but they still lost the game

Sorry but I think anyone who thinks they will award town a 3-0 win is deluded! The football league will go for the easy way out and the 0-0 will stand! Got nothing to do with UEFA, they won't give a shit!

My guess is that the result will stand, point each. This is the path of least resistance for the football league. Easy way out. No way should Blackpool get the same points as us from that game. Bet we get only one, though. I think the draw will stand, but Blackpool will then be docked - well any amount of points for this season as its irrelevant. As Stu has said, the FL will take the easy way out. We should have said to the FL, either we get the 3 points, or we replay the game as part of the pre-season schedule.

I doubt the Football Association will see it that way, I have no doubt they will face sanctions that will hurt the club. That won't be decided today. The Football league however may take the easy way out regarding awarding of points.

Knowing the football league, each club will be docked twenty points and every player involved will be hit with a five match ban for failing to control the crowd. See you in League One!

Got nothing to do with UEFA, they won't give a shit! It wouldn't be the easy way out though would it? Town would be unhappy because they'd been denied the chance to finish higher, through no fault of their own. In addition, it would send out completely the wrong message & would encourage, rather than discourage, similar things happening in the future. The FL have to (& I think they will) recognise the seriousness of this & it's implications going forward. The only realistic outcome they can announce is to award the game to Town.

It is the easy way out as only one club is affected, ours.

It is the easy way out as only one club is affected, ours. This time. Setting a precedent has to be high on their agenda. Though setting a precedent in terms of allowing ownership that saw Blackpool arrive at such a parlous state wouldn't be altogether unwelcome, albeit too late in this instance.

It is the easy way out as only one club is affected, ours. Can't see your logic mate. If they decide the result stands, only one team is negatively affected, i.e. Town. If they award us the win, only one team is negatively affected, i.e. Blackpool, the transgressors. Anyway, we'll soon see!

Technically Leeds will be negatively affected as they will finish one position lower in the league, which could affect their prize money. But who cares about them

Apparently they have only retained three players! Clarke would be a pretty solid signing for any league one club!
