He was one of the best players away to Everton when we played them in the League Cup. That said, we did get demolished 5-1.

Which job was that? Sweeping the terraces down after the game?

Garner was gash on the whole when he played...which was disappointing as always been a fan of him.

Alternatively 1 goal in 16 games explains how he was one of many players that didn't perform under Clark

I remember him hitting the post at Notts County but that's about all I remember of him.

I dunno what sauces people are using but Wikipedia says he scored 1 in 16, but I've read elsewhere he failed to score during his loan spell with the terriers! Wikipedia ain't the best source tbh, according to Wikipedia Nat Brown won the ballon d'Or in 12/13, so probably bollocks that he scored for us!

Let it go!

Garner fell over a lot for us, he is still doing so for Preston, although he has now added goals back into his game...
the just 'falling over' wasn't enough to impress town fans..

Croft didn't really play enough to have any sort of opinion on him although as has been mentioned I do remember the Everton game when he did actually play quite well.
As a player I didn't think Garner was that bad he just never looked like scoring which is a bit of an issue being a centre forward, had he got a goal early on for us (like the Notts County game when he came close) I think he'd have alright here but it just never came and the longer it went the less likely it looked he'd get a goal.
