Unless somebody else is leaving I would prefer we invested elsewhere in the squad. Pringle may be a decent player but do we really need any more midfielders?
Edit. Just seen that Gobern's off.

Pringle is a winger, not a central midfielder. He's ok at this level but nothing more
Read the other day where Morgan was going and can't remember who it was, think it was a Derby or Forest type club so we'd stand no chance

Can see Pringle coming here, tbh. It makes sense since Hammill and Wardy went there, maybe we've tapped him up, as we were looking at him last window. He's a good player, won't be on too high wages and never stops running! The only possible downside I can see if he comes here is that our wingers will sound the inside of a low rent tuck van with Pringle, Bunn and Lolley

If we sign Pringle then I think Lolley and Charles might as well pack up and leave. We don't need him and he hasn't stood out at all since Rotherham came up into the Championship so I don't understand why anyone would want him here over giving others a chance.

I don't hugely follow players of other sides and so can't comment on Pringle directly, however I do agree with the sentiment. Sign quality if it's available - either proven or masses of potential. In the event that it isn't available then let's look to see what's in the development squad. Naturally there'll be times when we need to go for another option and fill a gap, but with the wing options we already have it feels like it should be quality or nothing...

Fulham are leading Charlton Athletic and Ipswich Town in the race to sign Rotherham United midfielder Ben Pringle.

They're quite welcome to him for all I care. No better than we already have imo.
