Fantastic gesture. LINK(Apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere; can't be arsed to trawl all the threads)

What about the other kids, which this one snatched it from? Not excusing the disgusting behaviour from the adult, but the shirt hardly landed in this kids hands did it?

They're talking about the kid who originally half caught it, before the hoard of brats went in and the crazy woman took over and the stewards had to settle it down. I reckon the brats were probably with the woman anyway? It was quite a spectacular incident, given the game was over LONG before!! Always difficult to tell in these games, but Preston looked very good, well organised, direct, always looked like taking their chances...it's a bit concerning, as I'm really struggling to find obvious candidates for relegation this season, it also SEEMs like the teams coming down from the Premier League are better equipped for the Championship than those who were relegated last season...(although with a bit of luck QPR might implode), and the teams promoted from League 1 seem better (although last years did alright). You can't really imagine Fulham, Bolton, Reading and Brighton having ANOTHER bad season...it really could be ANYONE who goes down, or goes up.

My guess is MarcusD had employed a bunch of Southern street urchins to acquire Beckfords shirt in order that he could ceremonially burn it in an ancient Kentish voodoo ceremony .. the woman was doing the world a service

Rotherham, Reading, MK Dons, Charlton and (you heard it here first) Ipswich to struggle. Brighton looked poor - not sure if they will be overhauling squad? Will Brentford suffer post play off and Warburton slump? QPR and Hull look too vulnerable (the former has a massive FFP fight to go through and a squad to rebuild and the latter has internecine fighting coming up with the owner) to challenge. Top 6 contenders - Wolves, Burnley, Wednesday, Boro, Derby, Preston (momentum looks good), Blackburn if they don't sell both strikers. Too early to call - Town, the Leeds circus (anything can happen!), Forest, Bolton, Fulham, Birmingham and Cardiff The group I've put Town in has some clubs with the smell of decay and decline and it's easy to envisage at least 2 of them having big problems

I remember going to MK Dons away a few years back when I was about 14 and the players threw their shirts into the crowd. I grabbed Kay's shirt with two hands in the air then was fully elbowed in the face by some fat 50 year old town fan who had also attempted to grab it. I let the grip on the shirt go (unsurprisingly) and looked up to expect a heartfelt apology from the guy and the top, but no he couldn't give a toss and walked off with it. I know 14 isn't the same as this young lad, who has thankfully got his new shirt, but it still pissed me off. So if you're the owner of Kay's shirt from MK Dons away a few years ago, I'm the kid you didn't care about elbowing and stealing the top from
